Joe's P.O.V

I woke next morning to the sound of vomiting coming from the bathroom across the hallway.

"Morning Caspar" I shouted from the room. I heard a grunt and laughed to myself. I dragged myself out of bed and walked over to the bathroom to see Caspar, still in the clothes from last night, vomiting into the toilet. I laughed at him from the doorway and he turned round giving me an evil glare.

"I'll go make us some breakfast" I said, starting to feel a little more sympathetic towards to Caspar.

"Thanks Joe" Caspar replied sounding very ill. I did feel really sorry for him so decided I would make breakfast for us both. I made eggs and bacon because it was one of Casper's favourite and I made two cups of coffee. I set everything down on the table just as Caspar emerged into the kitchen.

He slumped down at the table and began to shovel the food into his mouth at an alarming rate. I smiled, Caspar ate really quickly, it was just one of those little things you learn about each other when you move in with someone. It was great.

I thought to myself about how I loved having a roommate, especially someone as fun as Caspar. I'd never really had a roommate before because I was always quite insecure about the fact I didn't think anyone would want to live with me, and I would just end up annoying them. I'm glad I found Caspar. Behind all the jokes and laughter that could sometimes be annoying, he truly was a great friend. And for that I am very fortunate.

I came to my senses as I heard Caspar getting up from the table.

"Wanna play FIFA?" I asked

"It might take your mind of the headache" I laughed

Caspar gave me one of his fake glares and I laughed even more, but he nodded so I went and turned on the TV.

We played for a little longer than I expected (4 hours to be exact) but it was fun and I think by the end of it Caspar's headache had subsided. Neither of us had anything else planned for the day so we thought a movie marathon would be great idea. Sitting in front of the TV all day eating. What could be better?

We ended up only watching two movies before we got kind of bored.

"I vote Nandos!" Caspar exclaimed with a little too much excitement.

"Haha ok Casp." I replied.

When we reached Nandos I was quite surprised it was fairly empty but it didn't bother me. I preferred it when everything wasn't so busy and crowded. That was the only downside to youtube events like playlist and vidcon. I got quite anxious and panicked when surrounded by a lot of people and noise.

Me and Caspar ordered our food and had a great laugh and I just felt really happy. The last few months I have been a lot more cheerful and I think Caspar has definitely helped with that. Living with my family had sometimes got a bit lonely because Zoe was always busy or seeing Alfie so I mostly only had my own company, but Caspar changed all that. I now feel more included and happy. And for that I am grateful.

"Thanks Caspar" I accidentally said out loud.

"For what?" Caspar asked.

"Oh nothing, never mind" I laughed.

When we finished we got a taxi home and I decided I would get an early night.

"Night Casp." I said

"Night Joe." He replied.

And it wasn't long before I fell asleep, smiling to myself.
