It's been a month since our group has been terrorized by David's control group. Our little rebellious squad has been growing since then. Feng stopped hanging out with our group, I guess after what had happened during our last trial changed her mind about David. Boy.. we were so wrong.

Kate sometimes tells us about feng giving us a look of regret. Maybe David threatened her about something? Who knows, she still betrayed our group. It has been like a warzone lately; dealing with killers during trials, David, and now Dwight.

He has been a bit difficult lately. He has been a bit distant with the group and me. I haven't talked to him after hearing him talking to someone in the tent. I would try to talk to him, but he would get shy or nervous and run away. Maybe he isn't comfortable to be open about our relationship? Ugh, I need to stop talking to myself.. makes me look lonely.

"You should also stop talking so loud. Makes ya look crazy." I turned around to see who it was, and it so happened to be Nea. Great...

"I wasn't aware that I was talking to myself." I rolled my eyes while I moved aside to let her sit down.

"So, what's up big shot? You've been keeping to yourself lately." I hate when Nea does this. I never really liked talking to anyone in our group aside from Dwight. Since I haven't talked to Dwight, it's been lonely.

"Just thinking about Dwight. Haven't talked to the nerd in a while." I told her straight up. She nudged me with a smirk.

"Well he has been talking to Claudette a lot recently." I turned to look at her surprised.

"That's weird.. Do you know what they are talking about?" I asked her. Nea gave me a frown and shook her head no.

"You could try talking to Claudette." She had suggested something great this time. I nodded at her and stood up.

"I will, thanks Nea." She gave me a thumbs up and watched me walk off towards our group. I looked around our side of the camp. Seeing as she was no where in sight, I decided to walk off into the woods. My thoughts clouded my mind.

I forgot what I was going to do. Maybe I was going to take a dip by the lake? No.. Possibly carve into some trees? Obviously not...

I sat by the tree, my back leaning against the thick bark. I heard faint whispers but I intended on ignoring it. That is, until it sounded like Dwight's. I quickly turned and stood up. Looking over towards the direction of the voice, I heard a scream. My legs instinctively led me towards the sound of the scream.

I stopped in front of a weird looking tree. It's cut off branches looking very sharp as if it can cut someone, black vines going up and hanging down from the bark, the leaves a black and brownish color.

A sudden sting of pain rushed in my head. 'Don't fight it park.. give in.'  The voice had echoed or it was different voices in one. 'You have been struggling.. struggling to keep your head up for the group. So much responsibility for someone who isn't used to socializing..' The voice sounded louder than before, the pounding from the headache was faster.

'Even dealing that boy, much more stress on your shoulder.'

"N-No, stop.."

'You know I am right, listen to me boy.. What would your mother think about this?'  I looked up as I held my head. The figure of my mother looking down at me. Her jet black hair resting upon her shoulders, pink lipstick to match her pale skin. Her brown eyes looked down at me in disappointment.

"M-Mom?.." I couldn't help it but let out a few tears. It's been years since I have last seen her. I missed her so much. Missed her voice, smiles, the affection, the talks we had, everything.

"C'mere sweetie.. give in. You will be able to see me again if you do this, please hunny.." Her brown eyes gleamed. Gleamed in saddness.

"You know I can't do that mom.." I heard my own voice crack as I tried to reach for her. She shook her head and stepped back.

"This is good-bye then."  I watched her disappear. My visioned blurred for a second and I had let the darkness consume me.
