"Hey David!" I turned to look over towards the sound of the voice. Letting out a soft smile as I realized who it was, I stood up from the log I sat at.
"Aren't we going to go take a dip at the little pond we found?" This person asked as they held onto my arm. Snuggling closer to the warmth of my jacket.
"You seem 'ta be cold. Dunno why we'd go dippin' at the lake if ye' snuggling my Jacket." I laughed, giving them a small kiss on their forehead. I watched them pout playfully, snuggling closer to me on purpose.
"Awe c'mon! Don't be like that. Can't we go for just a little bit?" I softly laughed.
"Alright fine. We can go dippin' at the lake." I gave in. They were just irresistible.
"Yay! Let's go!" They exclaimed excitedly as they held my hand to lead me to the pond.

"Daviiddd!" They whined as I laid there on the ground.
"What happened babe?" I opened my eyes to meet their brown eyes. Their eyes twinkled with delight as they hugged me.
"I hope sometime we can get out of here. So we can actually spend together at home as we snuggle in bed. Maybe go out on a real date somewhere nice." They kept fantasizing about our escape. It brought a smile to my face to see them happy.
"Some day babe, some day."

"David! Why are you being such an asshole all of a sudden?!"
- I honestly don't know why. Something inside of me told me to let you go.
"Dunno why ye' still botherin' me."
