You had heard news of a zombie apocalypse exactly a year ago and you had been hiding out in your home since then. But, recently, your food supplies had depleted and you heard (on the radio) of a Safe Zone located only ten miles from your home. You knew it was risky, but you knew if you didn't try to make it to the Safe Zone you'd die from starvation.
