I have always and always will ship Quiglet. So for those of you who ship Dunclet I'm sorry but I will make a lot of Quiglet references. Like seriously? The part when he and Violet were on that waterfall ledge... how romantic. I fangirled both with the book and how well they did it in the series.
I never saw Violet and Duncan as more than friends. Maybe Duncan liked her, though. Like in the show when he wrote "DQ + VB" And when he asked if she saw it she said no. There can be two things from this: she was embarrassed or she didn't want him to misunderstand. Like maybe he thought she liked him back. But honestly guys, it's pretty obvious she liked Quigley. Or else why would Lemony Snicket give them "privacy"?
