Hanako watched as Izuku cried tears of joy for having his dream acknowledged by someone, much less by his idol. All Might...I'm glad your words were able to reach him. All those years ago, when he found out he was Quirkless...that's all he wanted to hear. That he still had a chance...a chance to be a hero Hanako said to All Might using her telepathy. All Might took a step forward and reached his hand out. "I think I may have found a worthy successor. How would you like to inherit my Quirk?" he asked, sending Izuku into a state of confusion as he wiped his eyes. "We should probably tell him..." Hanako answered, facing Izuku as she stood next to All Might. "What do you mean? Tell me what?" Izuku asked as he stood up. They both sighed. So, you gonna start talking All Might thought to himself, referring to Hanako. That's what you were waiting for!? she yelled, sending him a glare. Hanako finally opened her mouth to speak. 

"I'll start by explaining his Quirk." she answered, piquing Izuku's interest further. "All Might's Quirk can be inherited. Meaning, it can be passed from person to person through their DNA." Hanako said as she leaned against a gate leading to a apartment complex. "A Quirk that can be inherited? But how do you know that?" Izuku asked, looking at his sister. "I told her myself." All Might intervened just as Hanako was about to answer. "Like she said, my Quirk can be inherited. As such, I was looking for someone to be my successor. And I found your sister, who harnessed several abilities." All Might continued, placing his hand on Hanako's shoulder. "Those 'abilities' are really just psychic powers and ESP." she mumbled, earning a glare from All Might.

"Anyway, I chose her to inherit my Quirk. But after seeing you in action today...I would like for you to inherit my Quirk as well." All Might proposed, sending both siblings into shock. "The name of my Quirk is One For All." he continued, as he looked at Hanako. "One for All..." Izuku repeated, making sure he had the power's name committed to memory. You can finish explaining now All Might whispered in his head. "I swear this is the reason everyone calls you a man a few words." Hanako said out loud, earning a smack on the head. She held her head down so she wouldn't yell at him. "In case you're wondering onee-chan, I used my Telepathy ability to establish a mind link with him." she explained to a confused Izuku. 

"On a serious note, let me fully explain to you how One for All works." Hanako said in a serious tone. She lifted her head up and looked at Izuku. "One For All is the union of two Quirks: A Quirk that stockpiles power, and a Quirk that could be transferred to others. That mutation was caused by the Quirk, All For One. One For All allows the host to access power from the previous users of the Quirk." Hanako started, Izuku tilting his head as he processed the information being given to him. "So One for All doesn't have a limit. Because every time it's passed to a new user, it can grow with the user's Quirk." he concluded, urging Hanako to nod as a confirmation. "One For All receives its name from the fact that it can be "inherited" by others, as I mentioned before; it is 'one' Quirk for 'all' people. Like a torch, it is passed on from person to person. The last thing you should know is the method of inheritance and transference. One For All's passage is done by the recipient ingesting the current wielder's DNA."

Hanako concluded her explanation, waitng for Izuku to process the next set of information she has passed on to him. "OK. I think I got the basics of it...but why would you choose me to be one of your successors?" he asked, turning his attention to All Might. Hanako's interest piqued, doing the same as her brother. "I don't mind giving it to you and because you shined more than any of the other so called "Heroes" during the Sludge villain's attack on your friend. That's all there it is to it." All Might answered. Izuku clenched his fist and nodded. "I'll do it. I'll inherit One for All." he answered, accepting All Might's proposal. All Might showed a surprised expression, causing Hanako to laugh. "I don't know why you're so shocked. Onee-chan was gonna say yes anyway." she snickered with a smug expression. "We get it, you have telepathy, so wipe that look off your face." All Might yelled, before sighing as Hanako congratulated her brother on getting a Quirk.
