Nick's POV

"dam , where she at?" I mumbled to myself. It was getting late, & Jalia still wasn't at my place. It's been 15 minutes since she called me & it only takes 10 to get to my place. When she was crying on the phone I knew that it had to do something with Jacquees. Lately he's been the reason that she's been down. I told ha she ain't doing nothing wrong but she think she is since he isn't showing her that much attention.

She cook, clean, wait for him, support him at EVERY show, she is basically doing everything a wife does. I know she probably isn't looking for a ring right now. She just wants for him to be there for her and mainly their baby.

I know all the signs of cheating, i know that's not good, but since I did it before I know how to get through it. I'm not accusing him, I'm just telling it how I see it.

I got up from my full size bed , walked into the kitchen to look for some snacks. I have to make sure I have snacks here where Jalia comes over or she's going to throw a damn fit. I open the cabinet where I usually have them at.

"damn" I said out loud. She must have ate them the last time she was here.

I closed the cabinet, walked over to where my key rack is & grabbed my keys. I quickly did a pocket check and notice that my wallet wasn't in my basketball shorts. I jogged back into my room and grabbed my all black leather wallet.

"man why tf ya stopping." I yelled out loud to the car that suddenly put on his breaks. It's not like they can hear me anyways.

"thank you..damn." i said as they was turning right into Quick Trip. Ima just go down to the other corner store, they snacks are a lot less cheaper then the gas stations, but Quick Trip got some good ass slushies. Ima just go there when i come back from the corner store.

As I kept driving i notice that cars are slowing down, maybe its cause it's raining outside. 

I finally approached to the red lights and notice a there was a big ass accident. Damn...i feel sorry for who ever that got hit cause that black escaladed  demolished it, I just hope and pray who ever is injured is ok.

I picked my phone up when I notice that Jalia was calling me. She told me that "Ah Yeah" by August was her favorite song, so she made me change her ring tone to that song.

"wass up, i went to go grab some snacks, you was taking to long." i said into the phone. Still waiting at the lights and the police who just showed up to the scene.

"Hello, is this Nick." a voice that i don't recognize said into the phone.

I checked to make sure it's Jalia. "umm.. yea who is this?" i asked confused.

"This is Grady Memorial Hospital....you were the last person that we found in the patient phone, please come down to hospital she was in a really bad accident."

before i could say anything they hung up the phone. My heart started racing back and forth..I looked at the accident scene again. Her car caught my eye. Her all black 2012 kia spectra.

I got out of my car and ran over to where the police are at. They had yellow tape surrounding it so people like me can't come through, but I'm not just people i am a person that knows the victim.
