Throughout the day I studied Anna (her face shape, her leg length, the shape of her body fitting in her clothes etc.) and I sketched her. I made sure that I made everything precise.
At lunch, my friend Asher was watching me draw and judging me.
"Bro you just met her, and you are fangirling over her. If you really like her then talk to ..."
He would have continued patronizing me, but then Anna came up to us.
"What are you drawing?" she asked
I did not know what to do so I started stuttering like I always do when I am stressed. Asher saw what was going on so he told her what I was struggling to say.
"Oh, thanks! I love your art style, kind of a mix of anime and realistic art. I love it! Will you show me how to do it after school?" she asked.
"Sure, it is really simple. But where should we go?"
"We can go to the café if you want... oh, and I never got your name!"
"Oh yeah, my name is Leo. The café sounds good to me. I guess I'll see you then."
"See ya then" Anna replied as she sauntered away.
"Dude," Asher said once she was gone, "the girl of your dreams basically just asked you apprentice her in a drawing! How do you do that?"
My insides were flipping, and my head was everywhere at once. And Asher was right--I don't know how I did it but I did, and now I have a date with the beautiful girl with the golden shades.
