Adrenaline || Chapter Five

Lance's Pov ^-

"Paladins!" Florentina came running towards us, panting. "I think I may have found something to jog Pidge's memory." The world seemed to freeze for a couple seconds. I blinked at the fawn-like woman. "While going through the tests I had done earlier, there's a certain brain wave your brain produces. Pidge's brainwave has been nudged a bit. Which may be the cause of her memory loss." She glanced around at everybody. Rubbing the back of her head with her hand. "If we shock Pidge, her memories may return."
"Uhm. No." I crossed my arms, glaring at her. "No way am I letting you electrocute Pidge."
"Not that 'shock'." Allura snapped. "She meant as in an unexpected action of events. Surprised, shocked, adrenaline!"
"Indeed. Thank you, princess." She bowed towards Allura, who returned the gesture.
"It'll work. But for now, we must let her rest." Shiro put his hands to his hips. His figure standing tall. 

Pidge's Pov ^-

I squinted at the book. Flicking through the pages, in search of something about a giant robot called Voltron. I licked my finger, turning over a page. 
A faint light flickered into the large hallway like room. I looked up from my book. Lance approaching, sitting down on a chair next to me. He placed down a box onto the ground.
"I was trying to find something along the lines of Voltron. Can you help?" I sat up, putting the book onto my lap. Angling it towards him. He leaned forward.
"Probably isn't. This book was made before Voltron was even created." He pointed to the back of the book, some kind of date on the back.
"Oh." I closed the book, pushing it onto the end of my bed. I turned towards him.
"You still interested in those science and hard to mostly understand stuff?" He asked, raising a brow. I gasped, leaning towards him.
"You bet I do! I don't remember ever learning about it, but I do know a hell lot of that stuff!" My eyes widen. He chuckled, leaning forward too.

Lance's Pov ^-

I yawned, stretching my arms into the air. She gazed at me with her soft brown eyes. Sleep just draining them.
"You should probably sleep. Shiro might be mad if he found out you never rested." I gave her finger guns. 
"Okay. But it's too lonely and deafening in here. Can you stay?" She asked. Pulling up her blanket.
"Sure, but I was wanting to do something with you." I grabbed the box. The controllers and console jiggling around inside.
"Who needs to sleep? Videos games are first-" She started, a big smile across her face. I took the chance before letting her finish. I leaned forward. Putting my lips onto hers. I pulled away swiftly, gazing wide-eyed at the floor. My heart beating like a bomb exploding on repeat. I heard the bed jolt, Pidge clutching the sides. Her eyes closed. Gritting her teeth.
"I'm sorry-" I spoke. She gasped, turning towards me.
"Lance!" A smile covered her face. Her cheeks bright and red. Her eyes wide like an owl.

Sorry! This one was late and very short. But I was busy watching How To Train Your Dragon 3! It was amazing, I definitely recommend watching all the movies! I'm not going to spoil it for whoever hasn't watched it yet. But boy! Must you watch soon! It's epic!
Anyways, the How To Train Your Dragon Au will soon be coming! Chapter one is barely even 1/4 finished. So just you wait!
