The moon shown brightly tonight from across the water. From where I was on the shore I made a pointer with my finger and turned slowly, where my finger pointed a mote in the ground about 4 feet deep was dug in a perfect circle around myself. It filled with the murky salt water quickly and out of my palm I shot a beam of fire at the water. It lit and the whole circle of water was shooting up in a strange greenish rainbow of flames from the salt. Then I shoot powerful lightning straight up at the moon which soon after followed the continuous sound of thunder all around me. Now a blue ray from the moon was flying toward me as a spiral and it encased my water flame circle and the portal was open to the moon. Milliseconds later I was there standing on the cold rocky surface.

Our meetings had always taken place here, it was the only spot we could find that was perfectly safe from intruders and the occasional wanderer. My mother and father were the ones who decided that this be the sorcerers base. They were the very first of all the sorcerers and came by their powers through creation, that should tell you of their age. All their children were born into it and some died passing it onto others I got most of my power through their lineage. None of the Original sorcerers are still alive, just because we are immortal doesn’t mean we can’t be killed.

I looked back toward the warm green and blue planet, how it’s more beautiful than the moon and not many can say they have really seen the earth until they look at it from a distance. It was 11:34 and the meeting would begin at midnight so I needed to go ahead and take my spot, I hated lateness. Walking to the deep crater near my left I blew towards the ground which created a massive dust storm and stairs to form straight down to the middle of the moon . I walked down the dark hallway that was lit by 10 torches of different colors. There was one torch for each sorcerer, mine was blue and grey right now it showed the color our auras would be if we had one. And when we die it goes to whoever we give our spot to.

At the bottom of the long stairwell it opened into a large hollow chamber that was a perfect circular shape. In the very center was a round table made purely out of diamond and around it sat 10 chairs each cast from a different precious metal and different stones. The more powerful the sorcerer it belonged to the more precious the metal and the stones.

Looking around I noticed only three of us were here so far. Myself of course, Tanner, and Chelsea. Chelsea was new to all this and this is her very first meeting. She was the prefect example of why we don’t fall in love with humans. Just weeks before now she had been in a terrible accident and was hanging on to a thread of life, it was too much damage for our powers to heal. She was engaged to the 5th in power, Luca, and hadn’t known that he was a sorcerer, but when she became hurt he couldn’t handle letting her go and going on forever without her, so he put his necklace that keeps him safe from physical injury on her, and put a knife in her hand stabbing it through his own heart. Now he is gone and she is a sorceress only last in power because that goes by age, and you get more powerful over time. But the thing about humans is, most of them can’t handle all the power and break down. Not to mention her fiancé is dead because of her and she has to live with that now.

She was here with her new mentor Tanner he was one spot above her that’s how we train new recruits. The person above them is their mentor. He was quite shy and was born into all this so he is my 4th cousin. He was neutral to humans as most of us are. As I said before 7 of us are neutral and I am on the human friendly side.
