Warning: very dark themes

Slap.
My head whips to the side from pain self-inflicted.
My mistake is what the voices told,
My punishment is what I receive.
My mind recalls the happy times,
My mouth pleads for mercy.
My family laughs at an inside joke,
My friends talk behind my back.
My screams fill empty air,
My house is not my home.
My sanity is slowly slipping,
My blade softly whispers my name.
My head hits the floor,
My brain wonders.
