Hoseok's POV

For the first time I saw her so sincere. For the first time she wasn't just acting and faking it. For the first time I saw her smile and this time it was a real one.

My heart then couldn't take it anymore and it felt like it was about to burst out of my chest this minute. She just looked so beautiful, even before this she already looked beautiful but now that she's showing her true feelings, she's even more beautiful.

She then frowned making me feel empty again. I want to see her smile all the time, I want to see it when I wake up, before I sleep, every moment of every-day and I can't stand not seeing it in her face.

"What happened? Where's....my uncle?" She said her voice cracking in the end, when mentioning that jerk.

I sighed and looked down, "He ran away remember? The police are now out there trying to locate him, and until then I'll never leave your side, You can't go anywhere without me knowing, okay?" I asked sternly.

She just nodded, smiled and nodded again.

"That reminds me, the investigators will be here to question some stuff later, don't worry, I'll be right with you all the way through so you don't have to be afraid" I told her.

She just nodded, "Have you eaten yet?" She asked.

I shook my head, "I'll eat when the girls arrive later, I don't want to leave you here alone, since the others are at school"

She just frowned.

"Don't worry about it really! Besides, I had a midnight snack earlier before falling asleep so I'm not really feeling hungry" I tried to reassure to her, she smiled but yet again, it was one of her fake ones.

"Wae? What's wrong?"

She just shook her head, "I just feel like I'm being a burden to you, you're not even eating and attending classes-" I cut her off by softly pecking her lips.

I saw her eyes widen, and her face was slowly turning tomato red. I chuckled at how cute and flustered she looked.

"I told you to not worry, this is you we're talking about, and if it's you, I'll do anything and you're not a burden to me, I'd rather die myself if ever you get hurt again" I told her.

She just kept quiet, probably still flustered about what I did. I'm not sorry though.
