I was looking for something better than just thank you

Hoseok's POV

I just watched and followed her as she walked in front of me. I followed her to her room and went in with her stuff.

"You can leave now, thanks for bringing my stuff" she said not even looking at me.

I didn't leave though, I wanted an explanation. I walked towards her until we were only a few inches apart. She looked up at me and made eye contact.

"Why?" I asked her.

She didn't answer, all she did was take a step back and look down again, playing with her fingers. I was stubborn so I took a step closer to her.

"Why did you let go of my hand?" I asked again.

And again she didn't answer. So I lifted my hand and pushed her chin up so she would look at me. When our eyes met yet again, I saw fear in them, like she was holding back because of something she's afraid of. I know that she likes me back as she never rejects my kisses, she never replies but she doesn't turn away either, so she must feel something towards me. So why is she holding back? I then leaned in and closed the gap between our lips. My heart beat raced instantly, I hope her's does too. I kissed her again, and yet again she didn't return it. I'm not gonna force her, I'll just have to wait for the time when she'll kiss me back. I pulled away and looked at her straight in the eyes, that doesn't mean I didn't see the slight hint of red in her cheeks.

"Why?"

Aaaah! Even though it's a little bit sad, it's still sweet.
