I twirled around in my room looking at my black dress I held in my hand. I could feel myself being classy yet bring all that sex appeal.
Tonight, I wanted to be stunning as possible. Otherwise, I would be sitting home eating ice cream.
My phone blew up as Annie was texting me every five minutes. I didn't mind it. But, come on, I'm trying to pick out my clothes here.
My mother came inside with her hair in a ponytail. "Val, don't get too worked up over this. You're just hang out with Jayden." She took glance at my outfit.
"You look like a hooker."
"Really? And what did you wear when you were a teen?"
She went into my closet and pulled out a pair of jeans, a red tank top and red heels.
She lay them on my bed. I wonder if she was expected on fashion. Because, these clothes I wore were usually my college day clothes. And those heels I got from Annie when she accidently scratches her ex boyfriends car with them.
"Now this spells, 'Look at me. I'm beautiful, smart, sassy and not a slut.' Trust me. It worked when your father and I got married."
"By the way, how's dad?"
My father is road truck driver and he's always on the road. So, spending time as a family was very rare.
But, I was happy and my parents love each other and they wouldn't have it any other way.
"On the road as usual. I swear one of these days, he's going have to see his little girl as a doctor. " she pinches at my cheeks.
"Stop, you're going to squish my face."
She lets go and struts out of my room like a model. How does she do that? Even when I do it, I still can't get it right. I pick the clothes and looked at the mirror.
You know this is not half bad, Mom. I think I might give this a go.
My phone rang again. I was getting more annoyed with her calls up to this point. I mean my dreams are bad enough as they are.
"What do you want, Annie? I'm a little busy right now." I answered.
"Who's Annie? It's Jayden."
My face was blushing almost immediately. I'm such an idiot.
"Jayden, I'm sorry. I didn't know...wait how did you get my number."
"One of my friends used to volunteer at my dad's office. And they just gave me your number.
Sorry to call you so sudden. I just want to let you know that two of my friends are coming tonight. You know the place Travern, right. If not, I'll text you the address."
"Okay thanks. I hope to see you then."
"Me too."
I hung up my phone as Jayden voice seemed even more happier than ever. If anything that he was going to do, he was going to live his life to the fullest and party like there is no tomorrow.
He was getting over that hurdle which made me very happy.

It was six o'clock in the evening at Travern. And still no luck on who that man's name.
This might the one place I can get info otherwise I'm all out of luck. As I step inside, it was pretty modern. Pool tables were place in the back of bar as well as dart board. The bar was right hand side as soon as walk in.
