It was silent with just me and him, the others asleep in the 2 small bedrooms, two people sharing one.

"You aren't going to sleep?" he asks.

"I don't think i'll be able to," I reply, looking down at the floor as if it was the most interesting thing.

"Mmm, I can never sleep..insomnia," he lays his head back on the wall. I look at him as he closes his eyes tight then tighter then opens them again, turns his head and looks at me.

"What?"

I shake my head and look up at the ceiling, the glow in the dark stars and planet stickers glued on it. He laughs,

"Yea I know they're childish but, our parents did that when we were kids," he says, smiling.

"You all knew each other before this?"

"Oh yea, our parents were all friends it was always a full house here..I don't know why when they all lived only a block away," he mumbled the last part.

I look at my watch. I stand up making him look up at me confused.

"Okay thank you for letting me stay, i'll be leaving now," I tell him politely as my mother taught me.

I grab my blindfold but he stops me,

"I am not letting you go out when this is happening. You have to stay with us..please," he gives me puppy eyes.

"No Finn I can't be a burden- stop looking at me like that..stop," I laugh and push him playfully.

After half an hour of convincing me, I agreed to stay. We went to the master bedroom, which was their 'work' room as Finn called it. It was basically everything they liked. Guitars, cameras and hanged pictures, and-

"My paintings and paint," Finn points. I look over and stare in awe.

"You paint?"

"Yea I love it. It's something my mom taught me..although I feel like there's something missing about the paintings..like a color or something," he was deep in thought.

I stare at his paintings of the sky or an animal. I look back at my blindfold.

"Light pink," I tell him. He looks back confused,

"What?"

"The color you're missing? It's light pink..like my blindfold," I explain.

He grabs the blindfold and observes it,

"I hate to break it to you but this is color is called coral."

"It's light pink."

"Coral"

"Light pink"

"Coral"

"It's"

"Peach," we both say at the same time, laughing.

"How do I even make that," Finn says.

I stare at him, "Are you serious? It's easy..where are your paints."

That night we made several colors. Different shades of blues, purples, oranges, and they were all beautiful.
