Wintersun: Apex's Legend.

Chapter 1: The Struggle.

I was alone, lost from the beginning. I was merely beginning to comprehend where I was brought upon, a place that will soon change my ways & ideology. Where my path will soon lead to my demise..this is the story, of Apex The Legend.

It all started when my father had died from a Druid when I was 3 years old & my mother abandoned me to find a new home to live at the age of ten but never came back.. After awhile, my friends slowly left me because of the depression & eventually I was left alone, living on the streets, abandoned..I was young, I had just reached Level 13 and no one to accompany yet. The guards shielded the small village I lived in and fed me only out of pity. I used my fathers old sword to slay butterflies, & I always fell into trouble. In my solitude of sorrow, I began to reminisce about my life and what my purpose was, never truly figuring it out..The guards wouldn't ever let me leave the village and forbid me to go out until I was at an adequate age to roam the world. As my fellow townspeople began to present weary, worried faces, I began to hear about Druids invading our small village, I was Level 17 , I had slayed hundreds of over-sized butterflies, each death helped me grow with power...that'll soon become useful for the upcoming war...

Chapter 2: Druids In The Mist

As the guards began seeing me grow & mature, they asked me if I could help with some of there missions, and I accepted. I was Level 20..They had told me about someone or something was taking our source of food. I began searching for these bandits and quickly found them, they were near the river, around 3 boulders, all detailed with odd scripture written into them. I hid in a tree nearby, all I could hear was

"Suscipe Domines acrificium enim volumus sentire potens!!" It all sounded like gibberish to me, so I walked in a bit closer. Surprisingly, they were Druids!! I thought to myself, "What?! Druids in Newb Island? I thought they had died off a long time ago, the guards must've lied to me.." One of the Druids was in a trance only humming, "MmmmMmmmmMmmm!!" After awhile, he stopped, his lifeless body then fell to the ground and then a voice screamed behind me, "YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE, MORTAL." I looked back & stepped on a branch, the Druids heard me!! I swung, left, then right, fighting with all my might. They were 3 Druids, despite the odds, I took a potion & luckily had bought a pet. The Druids were defeated, one of them screaming "Dimitte nobis Domine!! Quia parum vobis!!" I felt a chill crawl down my spine, "MUAHAHAHAHAHA. A STRONG MORTAL, INDEED YOU MAY PROVE USEFUL, I SHALL SPARE YOUR USELESS LIFE , BUT FIRST.." My body felt fatigued, I fell to my knees, numb unable to move.  "LETS HAVE SOME FUN, MUAHAHAHAHAHA."

Chapter 3: Demons In Control

I woke up in the middle of town, there was strange scripture on my back...the same language those Druids were using. I gathered the strength to get up. I was trying to see what was in front of me, it was...my mother. She was hanged, her skull stabbed through a spear, her spine still attached.. The townspeople, slaughtered. There bones and guts, smothered against the walls.. I looked down, my hands..they were full of blood, and my fathers sword dull, covered in blood, pieces of meat still stuck to it.

"NOW. THAT WAS AMUSING. MUAHAHA. I FEEL YOUR SOUL GROW WITH ANGER, GOOD. I AM NOW A PART OF YOU, THE THOUGHTS YOU DESIRE TO ACCOMPLISH, JUST LIKE ANNIHILATING THIS PUNY VILLAGE, IT WAS YOUR WISH. DO NOT DENY IT. AS FOR YOUR MOTHER, SHE WAS TAKEN AS ONE OF MY SPOUSES A LONG TIME AGO.SHE WAS OF NO USE TO ME ANYMORE.  NOW. FIGHT. FIGHT FOR YOUR PEASANT LIFE. MUAHAHAHA."

His deep, rumbling laugh, shook the Earth but slowly faded away into a whisper. I didn't know how to feel, all these emotions ravaging through my brain, I didn't know what to do. I ran towards the gates, looking for an answer.  I crossed the bridge & found another small village by the name of "Shirebourne". It was a quaint place, everyone looked friendly, but they all seemed to be in a hurry. I tried speaking to one of the villagers but he just shoved me to the floor, "Oh! Forgive me, friend. Why aren't you in a hurry? You must be new. Once it gets dark, strange beings start to appear & many of us start to disappear!!"
