"uhm yes" i stutter out and sigh.. i could've been partying but instead i'm with this girl at mcdonald's.

we walk out my car and enter mcdonald's and we order two happy meals. we sat on the table that was against the window.

i push the food inside of me causing me to almost throw up. "what's so special about mcdonald's?" she asks me and i hold up a finger as a sign to give me one second. i have to swallow the food that's inside my mouth.

after 8 seconds i finally reply to her question.

"my parents loved this place" i say and regret it.

rey's pov

"loved? did they get tired of the place?" i chuckle out, his beautiful smile fades away, i furrow my eyebrows.. weird.

i take another bite of my cheeseburger and enjoy every single flavor i feel.

"oh my goooood i love this food" i moan out causing him to furrow his eyebrows. he was a really quiet person. he didn't say much and i really do wonder why.

"can't believe i ditched the party" he whispers out, i was disappointed. i kinda wish he wanted to hangout a little but that doesn't matter.

"well we're having fun" i comment as he meets my eyes and chews on the piece he took from his burger. it was pretty empty at the restaurant.

"you don't get it, i alm-" my phone was ringing and i pick up to hear a familiar voice. edwin.

"edwiiiin!! hiii.. i'm at.. uh mcdonald's with- uhm.. ari" i stutter out and lie to him. i didn't look at nick, i didn't want to know his reaction, he didn't seem to care anyways, maybe because i said it was ari. edwin could be protective at times, he was cool with nick but he would never leave me alone with him without him at the location.

"i'll come to your place, i love you" i say hanging up the phone to turn to meet nicks evil eyes. once again.. no words.

we left the restaurant when we finished and entered his range rover and it was a pretty quiet ride. i finally turn on some music to end the silence that was filling the car. my favorite song comes on, DYSN IRL.

i sing along and dance to the rhythm, i really love this song.

"in real life we in love ain't nobody can see it if we were living real life we would be shit" i sing along and dance in the car, i turn to nick to point at him and dance as i laugh, i want him to join me. "and this confession that i'm making right now is nasty as f-" "STOP" i yell out giving nick a heart attack and he stops the car immediately causing him to almost crash.

i run out the car and see a football field and point at it. nick jumps out of the car and looks really madly. "are you fucking serious? i almost crashed the car because of that?" he yells  at me, he enters the car again ready to drive but i refuse to jump inside. "come on please, just one game" i say to him and he surrenders as he leaves the car and walks with me towards the field. we find a football to use.

we go to the middle of the field and he spreads his legs as i spread mine, our heads the opposite direction so we were standing infront of each other with our faces against each other. he holds the football tightly and we count.

"1..2..3" i say and he runs faster than ever, makes his way to the first yard, second.. and i try to run after him and grab the football but he manages his way to the goal.

"GOAAAAAL" he yells as he dips the football on the ground, i cross my arms and look madly at him. "bad loser" he comments and chuckles at the same time. we walk back to the place where we started and this time i have the ball and he's the one doing the count down.

"3..2..1" he counts and i run the fastest i can towards the goal. i feel his steps getting louder and louder as every step i take.

suddenly i feel a body falling and i turn around to see nick falling over me. the next second i know was that he was on top of me, a ball between our breasts causing our faces to be a few inches apart. i felt his breath again.. still the strawberry smell i remember from the last time he was this close to me. i giggle as i look at him and he furrows his eyebrows  and looks madly at me..

he stands up and brushes his clothes and walks away.. i was confused. did i do something?

"hey what the hell dude?" i yell out as he keeps walking. i run after him trying to catch up the fast speed he was walking in. his hands were in a fist.

"what did i do wrong?" still no answer from him. we were right infront of the car and he jumps inside of it but i stand outside crossing my arms demanding for answers.

he looks at me and at the seat, giving me a sign to jump inside but i shake my head. i'm not unless he's talking. "leave me here i'll walk home." i say to him but he's still not driving.

i start to walk my way to edwin but he still isn't driving off. he closes the door to the car and walks towards me. i'm mad, i'm mad because he treats me differently. it's getting frustrating.

"i don't get it nick.. as soon as we do something fun you start to act weird and i don't get it, what did i do wrong?" i ask him as he's still quiet and walks on the street with me.

i push him "don't talk to me if you're gonna be quiet and don't be my friend" i yell out, i can't read his face expression.. all he's doing is looking at me. i continue walking away and i feel his steps following me. this boy. i don't know anything about him and yet i'm hanging out with him in the middle of the night.

we walk for a while until i'm finally at edwin's dorm. "thank you.. i'll see you tomorrow in math class" i say to nick and he walks away without a goodbye. i knock on the door to edwin's dorm and he opens up for me taking a step out of his room and sees nick.

"HEY! WHAT WERE YOU DOING WITH HER?!" i hear edwin's voice shout as he walked towards nick pushing him back.

nicks pov

i see edwin walking towards me, his hands were in a fist and he kept shouting at me for walking rey to him.

"IF YOU EVER TOUCH HER AGAIN" he continues as his eyes turned into fire, our chests touched and he was looking madly at me. "i'll kill you, don't you ever hang out with her again" i chuckle because one day he's good with me and one day he's not. "you're no good for her" he continues. i chuckle one more time and take a step back.

"says the one that cheated on her" i whisper to him and laugh. the boy that was just screaming and threatening me was suddenly quiet, his face expression went for threatening to scared. we stood there in the big hallway where there were doors on the walls leading to each dorm. you could have one if you wanted to but i chose to stay at home with my sister. i'm not sure about rey.

"that's not true" he comments and i chuckle for the millionth time since it was only nonsense that came out of his mouth. "want me to ask ally?" i ask him and he looks even more scared.

"fuck off, leave me and rey alone. we're happy" he says pushing me back causing me to fly backwards as he turned around and walk towards rey that was standing in the middle of the hallway.
