Agh! I'm finally able to write again. Sorry this took so long; the new semester took its toll on me. Anyway, I should be going back to writing regularly soon!

Leonardo

Wrapping your towel around your neck, you began your trek back to your apartment. You had just finished up practice and was hoping to get home before the cold set in. Waving to your teammates, you quickly walked down the dark street, shifting your bag around your shoulder. You glanced at the time and knew your brother would chew you out if you were late, so you decided to take a shortcut through a maze of alleys.

"Uh, hey," you heard all of the sudden, making you jump. When you turned around, you were just relieved to see Leo. It had been a few weeks since you had last seen him, so you were surprised that he remembered you.

"Oh, hi, Leo," you greeted as you smiled at him, relaxing your shoulders. "What's going on?"

Leo kind of smiled at you. "Nothing, really. I just saw you walking and wanted to say hello."

You chuckled and shook your head, gesturing for him to follow you. "Come on. We can talk while I walk home."

And you two did just that. You found that you though pretty similarly to each other and enjoyed the same things, like watching Tv. Although, you had never heard of the show he seemed to love and he promised to show you it when you showed him your favorite show.

You left each other at the door of your apartment building. After you waved to him you slipped inside only to hear your brother yell at you for being late. Well, time for another lecture.

Raphael

You had been busy the last few weeks with cheerleading practice and games. So busy, in fact, that you completely forgot about the strange encounter with the turtle. As you were heading home from your latest practice, you suddenly heard some strange sounds. Furrowing your eyebrows in confusion, you poked your head into the alley to see the turtle from before fighting one of the robots you had seen before.  You chuckled to yourself and just waited until the fight was done.

"Hey, Tortoise," you said with a grin, tilting your head.

Immediately, the red-masked turtle turned to you, both surprised and annoyed. "Oh, it's you. I told you last time, I'm not a tortoise!"

You laughed, shaking your head. "Nah, I think I'll just call you that. It's easier."

The turtle, Raph you suddenly remembered, growled in annoyance and glared at you. "What are you doing here, anyway?"

You shrugged. "I was walking home from practice when I heard the fighting. Little did I know that I would be seeing a tortoise with some crazy weapons again."

He glared at you before starting to walk deeper into the alley. You weren't going to let him go that easily. You wanted to keep teasing him. So, despite the time, you followed him into the alley. He noticed and glanced back at you. "What do you want?"

You shrugged, shifting your cheer bag. "Eh, just bored. Figured I'd hang around you for a bit."

Despite Raph's protests, the two of you ended up having a fun time. You would act as bait to a certain gang and Raph would come and 'save' you. All and all,  you had a night full of laughter.

....Until you got home to your brother yelling at you.

Donatello

"Oh, come on!" you yelled in anger as you had to dropped around two meters to the ground. You felt your ankles jar from the drop, so you had to fall to your knees. But that didn't bother you as you glared up at the boulder that wouldn't let you climb it. You were only able to get about two and a half meters up it before you couldn't find any more places to jam your hands into. You were determined to defeat this boulder once and for all.

"Uh... are you okay?" you heard another voice ask you. Blinking, you looked up to see the turtle that had broken the bench a few weeks ago. He looked confused as he looked down at you, frowning a little.

You shrugged and got up, brushing your hands over your legs. "Yeah, fine. Just couldn't get back the boulder."

He glanced up at the rock face, confused. "Oh, you're a climber?"

Chuckling a little, you nod. "Yeah, you could say that," you said as you started to unwrap your hands. "So, what are you doing here? Breaking another bench?"

He chuckled sheepishly. "No, not that. You didn't have to take the blame for me."

You shrugged. "Better to do that than to leave it open. You already thanked me, so there's no need to do it again," you told him with a smile. You weren't going to be bothered with an over-apologetic person.

You remembered his name was Donnie as the two of you just started talking while you rubbed ointment on your hands. The talking turned into walking the two of you headed back to your apartment building. Surprisingly, you found that you enjoyed talking with the tall turtle. As you waved goodbye to him and headed into the building, you suddenly remembered the climbing cable you had left next to the rock.

"Oh, come on!"

Michelangelo

You were walking along the streets of the city once again, reading a different book. This was one called The Sixth Extinction. You were a biology nerd, so you always had fun reading about the history of evolution or how humans were slowly killing their species by genetic perfection. Oh, wait, I'm getting too conspiracy. Let's get back to the story.

After a little bit of walking, you heard a "Yo, Dude!"

Looking up, you saw the turtle you had met awhile ago skating towards you. You stopped as he skidded in front of you, grinning. "Hey! Long time no see!"

You gave him a small smile, closing your book around your finger. "Uh, hi, Mikey," he said softly.

Mikey grinned at you and held out a book that he seemingly got from nowhere. You blinked in surprise, seeing that it was the book that had gotten soaked before. "I told you I would give it back to you!"

You chuckled softly and nodded. "You didn't have to do that," you said softly, gently taking the book.

Mikey smiled cheerfully. "It's okay! I wanted to get it for you!"

The two of you started talking, well Mikey talking and you listening and occasionally answering a question. As you climbed up the steps to your apartment, you realized that you hadn't once glanced at your book as you two talked, which was highly unlikely for you.

Well, this might just be a great friendship.
