It was now Saturday evening 2 months since I met Peter and we have gotten very close as friends but we still had a few of those moments I mentioned before but I wasn't sure if I should do anything about it.
I was helping Peter with is combat skills because that's where I was skilled in the most. We had a blast. Almost the entire time we were laughing or telling stories of our childhood, I learned how Peter got bitten by a radioactive spider and that gave him is spider powers and he learned how I got my skilled in combat and learned how to use them for good use.
We did this almost everyday and Peter would come straight after school and we'd do our homework and talk and sometimes we would swing and fly around the city.
One day, he brought someone with him. A girl. Called MJ. (I could tell because she was wearing a name tag as any guests have to wear one)
'Oh hey' I said while looking at Peter for a explanation. 'y/n, this is a friend of mi-' 'GIRLFRIEND' she established so she was VERY clear.
'Oh wow Peter didn't tell me you had a girlfriend' ' well y/n we only started dating yesterday so I never had the chance and you wouldn't pick up your calls' he said to me.
I noticed that MJ was almost hooking onto Peter and constantly kissing his cheek. And it was very obvious that he was not into it. At all
'Hey peter can I talk to you for a second. In private? I asked because I had to know if he actually liked her or not because I didn't want my best friend being in a one-person relationship. 'So Peter, how much do you actually like MJ? ' y-yeah I really l-like her' he said but I knew he was lying because he has thing tell where when he's lying or embarrassed he stutters over his words. 'Peter please, don't lie to me. If you actually like her then okay but just know that you should date whoever you want and not by force okay? Because I care about you' I told him and then gave him the biggest hug I ever gave him.

'y/n , if you really wanna know the truth then... well I really only like MJ as a friend but not as a girlfriend because I think I like someone else, he said under his breath.
'Peter I'm so sorry but you should just tell her how you honestly feel' I said to Peter, and he looked so glad that I talked him into telling MJ how he truly feels.
But then I felt a little bit harsh tap on my shoulder and it was MJ saying 'hi sorry can you get away from MY Peter ?' She said with the fakest smile I ever saw.
So I gave Peter a quick hug a whispered in his ear ' tell her now or you'll probably never will get the chance again' because I really did want him to be happy. As I left the room, I heard peters voice saying
' MJ I wanna tell you something and please don't be mad'
