Gravity Falls
"Gravity Falls?..." Danny muttered, his gaze sweeping over the town. He wasn't thrilled about being in this place. "Ugh, it's that dumb supernatural cartoon show," he groaned, his disappointment evident.
His attention shifted to the damaged rocket, and a wave of worry washed over him. The poor condition of the rocket left him concerned that Jimmy would be furious with him. It was scratched, scraped, and torn up, far from its original state. "I bet the warranty does not cover that," he muttered, running his fingers through his hair in frustration.
Realizing he needed to figure out his next move, Danny reached into his pocket, only to panic when he discovered that his thermos was missing. "Wait! Where's my thermos?!" he exclaimed, growing increasingly anxious.
Danny scanned the area, but all he could see were transparent green trees. It seemed like a ghost forest, adding to the eerie atmosphere of his predicament. Finally, he spotted his thermos sitting atop the tallest ghost tree in the forest. "Ah, there it is!" he exclaimed, relieved to have found it.
Determined to retrieve his thermos, Danny hopped off his tree and headed towards the tallest ghost tree. However, his progress came to an abrupt halt when he encountered a glowing green moss pond encircling the tree. Frustration boiled within him. "Dammit!" he snarled, realizing there was no way through the pond.
He sighed, realizing that his depleted powers prevented him from using them to bypass the obstacle. "Ugh, I could use my powers, except I used most of them up when I tried to get that bug off me," he groaned in frustration.
Left with no other viable option, Danny resorted to climbing. The tree wasn't too thick, making it relatively easy for him to wrap his arms around it. Preparing himself, he took off his hoodie and began backing up for a running start.
With determination in his eyes, Danny sprinted towards the tree, skillfully maneuvering across the pond. As he reached the trunk, he smacked into it, momentarily wincing from the impact. Swiftly, he removed his jacket and swung it around the trunk, securing it tightly. Tying the sleeves around his waist, he readied himself for the climb ahead.
Now securely tied to the tree, Danny began climbing, reaching for any available branch. His focus was solely on reaching his thermos, oblivious to anything else around him.
"Hey, dude!" a girl's voice called out, catching Danny completely off guard. Startled, he slipped slightly, momentarily losing his grip. Who else would be climbing ghost trees in this forest?
Danny looked around, trying to locate the source of the voice. Above him, on the branch, he spotted a young girl. She had long brown hair and was wearing a sweater, appearing a few years younger than him. Her resemblance to Dipper Pines from the show was uncanny, but he had never heard of a twin or clone.
With a mixture of relief and curiosity, Danny smiled back at the girl, grateful that she wasn't someone he knew. If it had been someone familiar, he would have been in trouble for stealing or skipping work. "Phew, kid! You nearly gave me a heart attack," he remarked in a friendly tone.
"What's your name?" the girl inquired, clearly intrigued by the boy hanging from the tree.
"Uh, Danny, Danny Fenton," he replied, briefly glancing up at his thermos, his primary objective still at the forefront of his mind.
"You're not from here, are you?" the girl asked, resting her knuckles against her chin with a mischievous grin.
"Uh, well, no, I'm not from this area. I'm here for work," Danny lied, inching his way up the tree.
"What kind of work?" she probed further, her curiosity piqued.
"Ghost investigation. After all, this is a ghost forest," Danny responded, attempting to maintain his façade.
