I can't believe it. "Stefan said smiling.
They pull apart.
I thought you were gone. "Stefan finished.
Damon smiles.
Well, you didn't think I was gone gone! I promised you an eternity of misery. Heh. ' "Damon joked.
Whitmore Dorm Room
Elena paces in front of Caroline, who is sitting on her bed.
Elena has her arms folded, and she is clearly not happy.
He's back? "She asked confused.
Caroline nods in confirmation.
How? "Elena asked.
I don't know. Honestly everything Stefan said after "Damon's back" is kind of a blur. "Caroline responded.
What about Bonnie? "Elena asked hopefully.
Who's back? "Emely asked walking in.
They both looked at her not knowing how to respond.

She sacrificed herself so I could come back. But, I don't want anyone to know. No sense making this harder than it already is. "Damon explained.
What are we going to tell people? "Stefan asked.

He said she wasn't over there. "Caroline said quietly.
Where is "there," exactly? "Elena asked
Are you guys going to ignore me? "Emely questioned.
They didn't say anything.
Whatever. "She mumbled.
She grabbed the things she came for and left.

He takes a swig from the bottle of bourbon.

Damon sighs.
