Chapter 1: good life?

Once upon a time in the land of equestria lived the pony's of earth,sky, and magic along with other mythical creatures. They all lived in harmony till one day a dragon and his friend group of pony's came to the castle, the one pony was the prince's sister by the name of twilight sparkle and her not so little anymore assistant spike the dragon, he will be the cause to this, he will be the cause to the kingdoms fall and that's where our story begins.

Spike, twilight and the rest of the gang where on there way to the castle for important "royalty business" with princess Kadence and prince shinning armor. The group of pony's where in another cart on the train they where on but spike was alone in his own cart, looking out the window up at the sky at some birds. Like any normal dragon they would be up in the sky too enjoying the nice breeze against their face and reaching the limit but spike had no winds, he was born without wings thanks twilight. A long long time ago back when spike was just an egg twilight was in magic school, learning the basic magic that every unicorn should know but one day when she was being tested to help a dragon egg hatch the spell went wrong and caused the dragon in the egg to be born without wings, and that's how spike got hers, all because of her. Spike sorta hated twilight for that and always will but he can't blame her she was just in school and all she wanted was to pass school and yet she messed up a dragons life to get where she is now, friends, loved ones. Spike still couldn't hate her enough to just leave he sorta hated and loved her at the same time, she did basically give birth to him even tho he is not his biological mother but still he thanked her too for not leaving him to be a rotten egg and she would always be like a mom to him but still.

Spike had to go on this trip because twilight needed help with sending notes to the queen and helping her carry books around, that's what he sorta always did ever since he was a small dragon. The only thing spike wanted at his age right now was someone to love, someone to trust and show his affections to but the only problem was no pony's liked him and twilight didn't let him leave to go to dragon mountain to go meet anyone so he was sorta stuck being alone. He always would think about if he would die alone like most dragons, but even if he did meet a dragon he wouldn't be interested...because when he got to the age to start learning about himself and other pony's and dragons he found a stash oh twilights "personal pictures" it was mostly of stallions and some other famous stallions that where not afraid to show their stuff and when spike would get comfortable and please himself it was always to boy pony's, never girl, he dose not seem interested in girl but boys he adores.

Whenever he is around a handsome stallion that is one of twilight's friends he blushes to hard, his face will turn red as a cherry and he will either just go home because he can't handle himself or...the stallion liked twilight. He hated when twilight would get all fam and attention but he could not do anything about he just had to live with the fact that no boys will like him all because he is a dragon and not a pony like everyone else. Meanwhile on the train when spike was day dreaming twilight tried to get him out of his deep dream
"Spike..spike hey..you alright?"
Twilight said tilting her head.
Spike jumped up and looked at her
"O-oh i-I'm sorry I was just u-umm thinking that's all!"
Twilight smiled
"Well we are here, we are going to go get some food a some tea if you would like to join us or would you rather just go right to the castle?"
She asked
"Can I just go to the castle? I can bring our stuff to our rooms so you don't have to set up your room, I will do it for you"
He said getting up and grabbing his bag.
"Oh spike you don't have to.."
She said to him.
"I-I insist"
He said taking her stuff.
Twilight smiled
"Thank you spike I don't know what I would do without you!"
They both hugged and then twilight ran off with the other to go eat while spike brought the bags to the castle, he wanted to bring the bags to the castle because honestly he just wanted to be alone, he didn't want to look at rarities face. After she blew him off when he tried to ask her out on a date he hated looking and even having to talk with her so he just wanted to go set up both rooms and just be done, he didn't want to be here any longer then he had to be and just get his work done.

As spike was walking down to he castle in the middle of town some pony's where giving him looks, looks as if he was going to freak out and tear them to pieces but spike was used to these looks from pony's, even the griffins give him looks but hey that's the perks of being a dragon.
Spike then eventually when he got threw town square he finally got to the castle doors and was let in by the guardsman, he then walked up 4 flights of stairs getting to their rooms and putting their stuff in each of the rooms. Once he was done with his task he went to go rest but for some reasons he could not get himself to sleep or even just take a quick nap but then..someone knocked on the door.
