Chapter 2: something is in the air

Spike get up slowly and opened the door, it was shining armor!
"Oh spike it's you!"
He said smiling at spike, he was dressed all nice for twilight and the other. God he felt embarrassed wearing his comfy sweatshirt in-front of royalty
"O-oh! Y-your highness...I'm gratefully sorry to-"
Shinning armor stoped him in the middle of what he was going to say
"Spike..you don't have to call me that, just because I'm prince doesn't mean that you have to call me highness"
He smiled and walked In, looking around spikes room then back at him
"Spike...I know you still don't forgive me..."
he said to me looking down
"W-what are you takin about?"
Spike said, he knew what was up he was just playing stupid
"Come on spike you know what I'm taking about"
Shinning said
"O-ok ok...yeah I'm still upset"
Spike said sighing, a small puff of smoke coming out his mouth. Back him magic school when spike was a bit younger him and shinning armor was the best of friends, like two peas in a pod, shinning helped spike and spike helped out shinning with assignments and different tasks but then...shinning met princess Kadence...he fell madly in love with her and that's all he was focused on and one day shinning didn't show up for school and after class when spike went back to both shinning's and his dorm room...shinning had taken all of his stuff out of the room and moved away with Kadence. That's why spike don't forgive him, he thought he would be there for him in his times of need but instead shinning was to thirsty for love to notice what he did to spike hurt pretty bad.
"Spike I'm so sorry..."
He looked up at spike with sad pony eyes
" listen...I don't know if i can ever Bring myself to forgive you..."
spike said trying not to make eye contact with him, shinning then nodded.
"So where is she anyways?..."
Spike asked
"Oh yeah...me and Kadence are having a bit of a disagreement so she stayed back at the crystal empire to take care of the baby and the people so I'm the only one here.."
He sighed, seeming a little annoyed. Spike could not believe...shinning....upset with her? The love of his life? Upset? He loved Kadence with all of his heart but yet that are fighting? God love seemed wired
"Yeah...she yelled at me...saying I was boring and I never spent any time with her anymore and I am always on trips, I mean yeah but I just have work to do and I have lots of responsibilities, and yet she can just sit around and look pretty"
He said in a pissed off tone
"W-well I'm sorry about that..."
Spike said
"I'm just...I'm sorry I was a fool spike...I'm sorry I left you for...her...."
he sighed
"D-dude it's ok...I-I....I forgive you.."
Spike looked at shinning and smiled. Shinning armor hugged spike then spike hugged back tightly
"Thank spike! Your the greatest friend anyone could ask for!!!"
Shining smiled then walked over to spikes comic book shelf
"Hey I remember these! Remember you would always read them to me?"
Shinning said taking some of the books off the shelf and looking at the covers
"Yeah! I got some new ones if you wanna read them, b-but I under stand if you don't..."
spike blushed a bit
"Of course I would love to read with you spike!" Shinning said in a sweet voice
"And twilight and the others won't be back for a couple hours"
Spike told him
"Oh thank god i don't have to where this stupid suite"
Shinning armor then took off his nice blue suite, he then looked at spike
"He do you have any other sweatshirts? It's sorta cold and I wanna get relaxed before we read".

Spikes face was bright red because shining was in his closet and had...no clothes on....and he could see EVERYTHING. Spike was trying to keep himself relaxed and not get himself all frisky
"Y-Yeah their I-is another one In t-there...."
spike said as he sat down on the bed and started to read, he tried to look away from shining.

He then took another one of spikes black sweatshirts and put it on
"Wow..this is so soft spike thank you!"
He the. Claimed up onto the bed with spike but the blanket got wrapped around shinings front hoof and he went face first onto spikes chest.
Spikes eyes opened wide as him and shining gazed into eachother was eyes, shining actually stayed there his his head resting against spikes warm chest
"Spike...I have always wanted to tell you something..."
he said softly
"N-no shining y-you cant....you are married to a beautiful girl..and what about your baby"
Spike said
"Spike...you don't know how much she has hurt me...slapped me and made me watch the baby for days...I never loved her...to be honest, I just wanted to get out of school...be free and wild but I knew how much you took school so seriously. I'm sorry spike I'm sorry I never told you...I'm sorry I tell you now when it might be too late..."
He said as tears started to for one pony's eyes
"H-hey no no don't cry! It's my fault don't blame yourself...if I didn't push you so hard with school...maybe you would have stayed...and i should be the one who says sorry, I'm sorry that I couldn't forgive you for all of these years.."
Spike said, tears starting to form in his eyes as well. As the two sat in that room they cried, they cried and cried feel sorry for one-another and eventually they got a hold of their emotions and stoped.
"Shining...I like you too"
Spike said to him as he looked out the window with his arms wrapped around shining armor and the pony smiled as he snuggled his face into the dragons chest, but he sighed.
"I just don't know what to do about Kadence, I felt something for her a long time ago but now it's all different..she is not even loving to me anymore"
He said with a sad tone
"Well we can figure that out later but for right now *yawn* I think we should both hit some z's"
He said, giggling
"Heh yeah alright"

So the both got comfortable and snuggled up under the covers together and after awhile of talking and lots of cute giggled they fell asleep, but then the others arrived...
