One, two, three... One, two, three...
I stepped one by one with my fragile feet, dancin' on the floor of water. I curved one hand reaching out to a invisible shoulder and the other raising to be contacted with another hand.
One... two... three...
I heard the wind count along with me. I could feel the beat from the fish below, and the music playing in my head. I was in paradise...
One...
I danced the waltz, turning and turning back, waiting for someone to catch me. I went on my toes, like a ballerina, and jumped, waiting for strong arms to carry me high into the sky...
Two...
Next, I danced tango as I made the beat go faster in my head. I was all wet from my stunts that can't be done alone. Once the song ended, I did a pose where one hand would carry my back and the other hand reaching for the sky.
Three...
I looked at the reflection, all wet and dirty. Alone and weak. Was this really paradise? A place that never turns dark? A place where I never grow old? A place where I'm alone? My heart became heavy as I thought about how great it would be to have at least one person beside me.
'Don't you like it here?'
I heard a voice, whisper into my hear.
'Isn't it fun here?'
The childish voice asked.
"No."
Was my reply.
'Why?'
That voice asked me again and again. It was starting to get annoying as the childish voice became a big head ache to me.
"SHUT UP!"
I screamed and the voice stopped.
'Why don't you like it here?'
The childish voice asked.
"Well..."
'I'll give you everything you want! Just name it and I'll give it to you! Just don't leave me alone... Please not you...'
The childish voice said over and over again.
"This is all fake. The trees, the wind, the water... everything."
'You don't like it here?'
"... Um.... If you don't mind, could you show yourself so I could talk to you?"
I asked.
I saw the trees sway as I saw a human figure, hiding. As he stepped into the light, my eyes suddenly were filled with fear as I saw his face. He smiled and said,
"I've missed you--"
