 Ever since Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica got together, Her Father (Robin Padilla) was not at all excited. At that time, Kylie and Aljur seemed to be the perfect pair and both were unattached. Hence, the public wondered why Robin was lukewarm towards Aljur. His behavior was later dismissed as typical to that of a father protecting his daughter.
