It stresses me out

"Ok Dennis can I get the grocery list?" I ask letting my hand out to him. Me and Dennis decided to go grocery shopping today.

Well he decided to come with me since I can't be home along because I'm to 'young'.

Like seriously? I bet you got to stay home by yourself at age 16. Well then again it will kind of get lonely...

"Huh, what?" He asked not even looking at me. Probably distracted.

"The. Grocery. List, please."Giving him a blank look. I'm not surprised that Dennis is ethier looking around or staring at a girl. He's not one of those type of guys that just play girls and whatever. He just has not been in a relationship in a year and, is looking to meet people out in public. I'm not saying he can't but...it's gets annoying. I mean at first I thought it was funny but now it's just plain annoying. Every time he approaches a girl or a girl approaches him they are always giving me death glares its like they're trying to speak three my Ming and saying 'stay away from my man'. This is one of the reasons why I wanted to go alone, by myself in peace.

"Oh, yea about that...I left it in the car." He scratches the back of his neck. Like he knows I'm going to scream at him in public.

"Are you kidding me?!" Some people turned around to see what was going on. Can't people mind there buissness for once and move on with there lives. "Go and get it now. You always do this." I roll my eyes and point to the exit.

"I'm joking, I'm joking. It's right here in my pocket. Chill." He takes it out and hands or to me.

"Do not tell me to chill." I snatch the grocery list out of his hand and let out an annoyed sigh. "Idiot." I mumble. I playfully punch him I'm his left arm.

"Someone's on their--"

"Dude!" I punch his arm again. "Lets just get the stuff on the list so we can leave and go home and relax."

Another thing that stresses me out: GROCERY SHOPPING! I hate it! Sometimes they don't have the stuff that you need and then you have to look in every other place to find it. Also they're are ripping you off with the prices, like for example: 2.99 for a pack a gum. And no I'm not being ridiculous I'm serious.

"Ok so what's first on the list?" Dennis asks bending down to see the first item.

"Uh, lucky charms?..." I look up at him and give him a confused look. I put lucky charms on the list but my mom said that all it is sugar, so she made me right it all over again.

"Yea, just incase I come over and stay overnight I can have something tasty for breakfast."

"And my mom is ok with this?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Yep." Next thing I knew he was gone. I just sighed and went to fruit section.

It's been 20 minutes and Dennis hasn't come back. Does it take that long to find a single box, is it to high? Nah, Dennis is tall enough to reach. I was already at the check out so I guess I'm going have to leave without him.

Heh, fine with me.

He was kind of pissing me off anyways.

Just as the chaser was about to check out my last item. Dennis finally came with the box. His hair looks a little messy and he oddly grinning.

Ok that's weird...

"What happened to your hair?" I ask as Dennis backs out of the parking lot.

"Oh my hair. Some of the boxes fell on me."

Are you serious? That lame excuse is not gonna make me drop the topic. Is that a lipstick stain on his cheek?! Is that what he has been doing this whole time! Making out with some random girl while I was shopping by myself!!!

"Ahaha...that was a funny joke. Tell me the real reason."

"Well...I kind of saw this girl and when I went to go get the lucky charms we started talking and then she started touching my hair and saying how soft it is. It was kind of funny..." He trailed off seeing I had a blank look on my face.

He cleared his throat and continued "Anyways we got to know each other better and now I have plans tonight. Oh yea and she gave me a kiss on the cheek."

"So let me get this straight. You spent all this time talking to some girl, while I was doing all the grocery shopping myself. You came with me so you can help and you didn't so now I'm mad at you. Do you even know this girls name anyways?"

"Yea her name is Lara."

Wait a minute. He said he had plans but, me and him already have plans planed out already. Did he forget it is he ditching me?

"What about our plans tonight?" I ask feeling slightly disappointed

"Crap! I totally forgot Julie, sorry."

"Sorry? SORRY?" I look at him like he was crazy. "Call it off. You guys can do it tomorrow. Tonight we were going to watch sitcoms and eat gummy worms."

"Er, to late. I already told her to meet me at red lobster."

"Ugh, fine. I can't believe you're ditching me Dennis."

"What? I told I was single and looking and I found my match. I would be expecting you to be happy about the news but now you're just being moody. I'm not going to blow off a date just because of you. Maybe if you just suck it up and let me be you'll be fine." He snapped at me. I was shocked by his words. Dennis would never do that me. Wait no, he never snapped at me before like that. Today was support to be our friend fun night.

Guess its going to be Julie's fun night.

"You know what? I'm spry for being 'moody' to you. Now you want to skip friend fun night. Last time something came up but you didn't leave me hangin' here by myself ."

"I gotta go, don't wanna be late." Then he drove off. I need someone to hang out with.
