2: Blind Date/ Rami Malek

Request: Rami is the readers best friend's cousin, and they set them up on a blind date

This has a lot of dialogue oops/ also, I'm going to try and start making these longer lol

"Come on, (y/n), it'll be fun!" your best friend tells you.

"I don't even know him!"

Your best friend rolls their eyes. "That's why it's called a blind date. And I know that you'll like him. I'm your bestie."

You groan. "Fine, I'll do it, but I'm still not happy with you..."

They laugh, "You will be, trust me."

You sit down at the table your best friend reserved for your date tonight. You anxiously wait, your fingers tapping on the edge of the table. You glance at the large clock hanging on the wall to your right.

Your date is 10 minutes late, and you are already thinking of the worst possible scenario as to why he is.

"I'm so sorry," you hear a voice from behind you.

"(Your best friends name) called me and lectured me about this date, so I was stuck outside until the phone call was over."

You look up to see Rami Malek.

"Oh my god," you say. "You're fine, I know how they can be."

He smiles. "I'm Rami, but from your reaction, I think you might've known that."

"Sorry... I'm (y/n)."

Rami sits across from you.

A waiter comes over and takes your orders and then leaves the two of you to talk.

"I hope you don't mind me saying, but I love your work..." you tell Rami at the end of the date.

"Thank you, I appreciate that." He replies. "This was very nice tonight, and I'd love to see you again."

You blush, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. "I'd love that."

Rami smiles and gives you a quick kiss on the cheek. "Then, I'll see you again, (y/n)."

The next day, you call your best friend and tell them about the date.

"So, I'm waiting.." they say.

You roll your eyes at their comment. "Thank you for setting it up."

"I better be in your wedding!"

This was supposed to go a lot better than it did :/
