When Tony and Steph arrived home by themselves they were surprised to see an ambulance outside of the Willis’s house and someone being brought into the back of the ambulance in a stretcher while a paramedic was talking to Mr Willis who was at his front door. Both of them quickly walked past as they went into their house.
‘What do you think happened?’ asked Tony to Steph as they looked out of the living room window 'Do you think that was Mrs Willis?'
‘I don’t know,’ replied Steph 'but she didn’t seem herself this morning,'
Trixxy was again looking nervous and would not stop following Tony and Steph. They both opened the door to Steph’s room and noticed that the room was again cold but no signs of activity. Steph got some clothes out of her wardrobe and went to get changed in the bathroom while Tony uploaded the footage from the camera and his phone onto his computer. Just as Steph had come into his room to check the day’s footage there was a knock at the front door. They both went downstairs while being followed by Trixxy to see who it was and opened the door.
‘Oh, hello, my name is Pam, I am Mr and Willis’s daughter in-law,’ said the woman holding back tears ‘Sadly my mother in-law has passed away,’ she said sobbing.
‘I'm so sorry, what happened?’ asked Steph softly. ‘
We think she might have had a stroke or heart attack,’ replied Pam ‘She died just when she arrived at the hospital,’ she said ‘Ron said that she hadn’t been herself since yesterday but I think she was putting on a brave face,’
‘We are really sorry,’ said Steph ‘How is Mr. Willis?’
‘He has just gone to the hospital with my husband,’ said Pam ‘But he asked me to let you both know as they were both looking after your house and he said you can bring your cat round to him tomorrow,’ she said ‘he will still look after your house even after everything that happens, he is like that,’ smiled Pam. After Pam left Tony and Steph went back upstairs and sat in Tony’s room quietly.
‘What do you think happened to her?’ said Steph after a few minutes of silence ‘Do you think it was that thing that’s here? I mean she would have been here earlier,’
‘I don’t know,’ said Tony 'but we have the footage on my computer to look at,’
Tony played through the footage and for the first hour or so there was nothing until around 11am the door to Steph’s room opened slowly and then closed. Then about an hour later they could see the door open much more furiously than it usually had done and then the door slammed and then about a minute or two later a faint sound could be heard from downstairs being followed by the heavy sounds of footsteps on and off for about 10 minutes until no more activity could be seen until about 2pm when the door again slowly opened and closed again.
‘Did you hear a sound?’ said Steph ‘at around 12ish?’
‘I thought I heard something,’ said Tony ‘I will look at the footage from my phone,’ he said as he opened up the footage that his phone had picked up while it was recording in the hallway.
