Desperate

It's Monday, and here I am on my computer playing games and watching YouTube. Boring right?, right.
I was waiting for my mom to get back home from going to the store and dropping my brother off at his friends house.
I would go to a friend's house, but, that's kinda hard to do when you don't really have any.
Some minutes later, my mom arrived and called me downstairs to help her unload the bags and put stuff up.
I helped her, after she cooked some chicken and then we ate so seeing what we should for the rest of our day.
My dad's not home because he's working over time.
Me and my mom decided to watch some horror movies, cause why not.
I made us some popcorn, and got us some drinks. I went into the living room and sat down on the couch and started eating some of the popcorn.

We finished the movie, we agreed on watching another one because there was nothing else to do in the house.
So we ended up watching 'Aquaman'.
After we were done my dad and brother got home right at the end of the movie.
We all got dressed to go to bed.

I woke up at 5:00, but is isn't feel like doing anything yet, so I slept for another good 20-30 minutes.
I got up again and picked out my clothes and took a shower, etc.
I was getting ready to go over to my friend Courtlyn's house so we could go to some arcades and go out to eat.
I got over to her house and the first thing we did was go up to her room to put on our clothes we got from her mom when we went to the Mall.
She super nice.
Even if your at no to something, she still does it.
We went to the mall first, at our third stop Courtlyn saw a friend of hers and went to greet and hug her.
For some reason I was feeling a little annoyed,
'we were supposed to be shopping not doing meet and greets'.
I thought as I walked over to her and her friend. They were laughing and talking. I didn't want to be rude and interrupt them so I just coughed a little.
They both turned their towards to me.
Courtlyn looked at me and said "oh, this is my friend Anna, Anna this is Rua"
"Hi" I said with an straight face, not caring to be polite or nice.
"Hello!" She said smiling with her whole body turning to me and holding out her hand.
I ignored her, and told Courtlyn that we should continue our shopping so we can go get food.
"So, how long have you known Anna?" I asked as we were walking to a table to sit down and eat.
"I've known since we were in 2nd grade. I sometimes call her sister because we've know each other for so long."
I stare down at my food, almost feeling angry. Or jealous.
"Courtlyn"
I say making her look up at me.
"Yeah"
"How would you describe me as your bestfriend"
She stayed quiet while staring at me like she just saw something terrifying and doenst how to react properly.
"How are we bestfriends Courtlyn?, can you tell me?, or will you stall just like everyone else who tries to avoid the truth?"
