When she first stepped into the Terminal Space, Petra had expected a fight. She expected Jesse to win, to watch Romeo finally pay for all the things he had done. She didn't expect Romeo to be there waiting them.

        She didn't expect to lose.

Petra felt her heart leap into her throat as she suddenly fell from thin air. Gravity took over, and her feet  slammed against the ground. The recoil made her stumble, but she quickly regained her balance, a light tingle buzzing in her legs. Her eyes widened when she realized that Romeo had teleported them away.

"No!" She cursed, fingers curling around the hilt of her golden sword. "Jesse!"

Jack landed smoothly by her side, yelling with frustration. "We've got to get back in there!"

Petra and Jack raced back up the stairs without hesitation to the roof where the portal had been, but were stopped in their tracks when they saw that it had been covered up by bedrock. There was no way to get to the portal, and no way to get back to Jesse. "No!" Petra cried smacking her palm against the bedrock.

A horrifying rumble shook the floating spire, and Petra and Jack exchanged a look of worry before they rushed back down the stairs. They approached the large open window where Jesse and Romeo had stood, and their mouths fell open with shock.

The normally beautiful blue sky was turning to black. It was as though black creeping veins were spreading across the sky like a disease. Shadows slowly consumed the land, swallowing it in darkness. Petra could feel shivers up and down her arms, and she held them close to her stomach to try to bring warmth back into them.

"Petra!" A voice cried. The red head spun around, her eyes landing on Lukas sprinting towards her. Everything was still shaking, so he nearly lost his balance but managed to recover quickly. He embraced Petra in a hug, and she returned it. "I'm so glad you're okay! What's going on? Where's Jesse?"

"He was waiting for us!" Jack sheathed his sword and pointed up the stairs. His face was full of anger, frustration, and misery. "He somehow knew about the gauntlet and teleported it away before we could nab it!"

"Jesse's still in there!" Petra blurted with worry. Lukas' eyes widened, and he opened his mouth to speak, but before he could say anything the floating spire trembled fiercely. The whole building began to  slowly tilt downwards, rubble raining from the roof.

"The entire thing's gonna collapse!" Petra said. "We have to get off!"

"How?!" Lukas cried. "We don't have anything to build with, and we can't just jump! This thing is fifty feet in the air!"

Petra thought back, trying to remember if they had left anything behind on the way up there, when she remembered Jesse's plan with the fireworks to place...

"The waterfall!" She said. "We'll use the waterfall! Come on!"

Petra, Jack and Lukas ran as fast as they could on the quaking ground, trying desperately to reach the stream of water that Petra and Jack had used to swim up there. Behind them was the stampeding group of Ocelots, following their lead. Petra spotted the water at the drop off, and pointed to it.

"There!" She exclaimed. "Everyone jump and aim for the water!"

One by one the Ocelot gang jumped, screaming as they fell through the air. Stacy told Stampy to jump before her, but Stampy shook his head. "I've got my own way down," he said, and simply lifted his arms like a cross and his parrots grabbed on and carried him down. Stacy shook her head with amusement and jumped.
