"So, you always have to wear that mask?" Adrien looked over at the girl he was 'dating'.
It's okay, Adrien. It's just a fake date! It's just a fake date!
Marinette had texted him before he went to the date. And he had sort of gotten the idea of what was going on.
Marinette - hey Adrien, thanks again, for doing this for me. I have been having a stalker and I've just got a plan on how to reveal her secret identity.
Adrien - oh, how?
Marinette - all you have to do it act natural, and pretend that nothing is going to happen.
Adrien - okay, but Marinette. I'm not going to do this for free.
Marinette - what do you mean?
Adrien - after this is all over, I demand an explanation of what is actually happening! Then I want to ask you a favor.
Marinette - what?! But that's two things. You can only do one.
Adrien - either that or I'm not helping you.
Marinette - fine.
The girl in the mask nodded at Adrien's question.
"Is it because you think you're too ugly?" Adrien asked. He couldn't help but laugh a little to himself when the girl frowned.
"I am not ugly!" She exclaimed. "In fact when I'm okay to show you my identity, I will, and you will see for yourself."
Honestly this voice sounds familiar all of a sudden.
"Hey, I want us to go somewhere," he said out of the blue. It was all still part of the plan Marinette had told him about.
"Okay, sure," the girl smiled. Adrien is taking me somewhere. Ha! Marinette, look at that! Adrien likes me now. He agrees to date me! He has warmed up to me! How do you feel about that?!
Adrien took her hand and started walking. Soon the place started getting familiar to the girl.
"Why are we going to your place?" She asked, looking around. "Are we going to have our romantic dinner there?"
Adrien gulped. "You bet," he croaked out. Calm down Adrien, this is fake! It's not real, it's fake. It's just an act!
Adrien led her inside his mansion. He then started taking her downstairs. The lights were turned off there, and the girl couldn't stop smiling at the thought of Adrien surprising her.
"Close your eyes," Adrien faked a smile. He was great at faking smiles.
The girl shut her eyes. "Are you going to surprise me? Aw, you didn't have to." She chuckled to herself. My hard work has paid off.
"Yes." Adrien took the chance and gagged to himself as the girl could not see. He then led her towards a cage. "Bend down, and go inside."
The girl used her hand to lead her where she was going. When she felt the metal bars, she quickly shut her eyes opened.
Adrien quickly pushed her inside the cage before she could come out and stop him. "Aw, no fair. You peeked," he laughed. He locked the cage, then called out. "Alright Marinette, you can come out now."
Huh? Marinette?
Marinette ran down the stairs. She had been behind the door all these times watching. She gave the girl one of her bestest fake smiles.
"Marinette, you better not!" She yelled. "I still have your secret and I can release it to the whole world if you dare try me!"
So this was all a set up. Adrien was only leading me here to trap me. Marinette probably told him to. Ugh!
"Secret?" Adrien sighed. "What is all with these secrets?!"
Marinette reached for the mask, and pulled it away from her face, the girl yelling, "stop! You better not do that! Stop!"
"Lila?!" Both Adrien and Marinette cried out at the same time.
"You're the one who's been torturing me?" Marinette glared at her. "You're the one who's been threatening me?!"
"Ew," Adrien gagged again. Can't believe she's the one that I've been going on fake dates with. Why the liar?
"Marinette, your secret was fun to keep while it lasted," Lila yelled. " I'm going to tell the whole world your secret. In fact, why don't we start with Adrien here?"
"No wait, don't-"
"Marinette is Ladybug!"
