Marinette walked down the path leading to her bakery home. A sudden woosh made her look back. She quickly knew who it was.
"Cat Noir, are you there?" She called out.
Cat Noir hadn't mean to catch her attention, after all, he as Adrien, was still a bit mad at her. He landed right in front her.
Adrien is the one who is mad at her. I can't be mad. She will ask me what's wrong, and I can't possibly tell her about what happened.
"Hey," he waved. "Are you going home?"
"Yeah," Marinette turned back to the path. "Cat Noir, I need to tell you something. Well I mean, you're probably the only one that's going to understand."
"Hmm, what is it?" Cat Noir sat down, and Marinette sat down beside him. Is she going to explain why she did what she did?
"Let's say that someone found out your deepest secret," Marinette began, "but for him to keep the secret, you have to do what he tells you to."
"That's horrible," he commented, before telling her to go on.
"And then that person tells you that you have to get her a date with the boy you like... I mean the girl you like." Cat Noir's eyes widened. "But after you plan the date, the boy starts being mad at you because..."
"Say no more," Cat Noir quickly interrupted, already knowing the rest of the story. He felt guilty and bad that he had yelled at Marinette, now here was Marinette telling him the story of what really happened.
"What would you do if that happens to you?" Marinette looked up at him.
"Eh... I would probably confront the boy- I mean girl," Cat Noir quickly said, "and tell her what you told me."
"Yeah, but he's probably mad at me," Marinette looked down.
"You never know. The boy might have changed his mind anyway," Cat Noir shrugged. "Anyway, I'll be moving now."
"Yeah sure, and thanks." Cat Noir helped her up, and after waving she continued on her walk home.
-
"Hey," Alya said as she shook Marinette's shoulder. "Look who is coming at our table."
"Nino?"
"No, Adrien."
"What!" Marinette looked and sure enough, Adrien was coming over. Confront him. Confront him. Confront him.
"Hey girls, mind if I sit here?" Adrien asked. He didn't wait for an answer though, as he sat down beside Marinette. He turned and smiled at her.
Has he completely forgotten what had happened? He just smiled at me.
Marinette could only look away, and think through her thoughts.
"Hey Marinette, can I talk to you privately after school?" Adrien suddenly asked. "And I also apologize for what happened the other day. It wasn't your fault."
"What do you mean it wasn't my fault?"
"Eh... Well, I mean... Just that," Adrien was lost for words as he looked away. "Someone told me."
"Ah, I see," Marinette shrugged. "Okay, and I'm sorry as well. I shouldn't have done what I did."
"But you were protecting your secret..." Adrien blurted.
"My... Secret?" Marinette frowned.
"Eh... That person also told me that," Adrian quickly said. Quit it Adrien. Quit being like that, or else she'll find out!
"Okay..." Marinette wasn't so sure, but she looked away, not bothering to put much thoughts into it.
Then her phone beeped and she took at out. Realizing who was texting her, she stood up from the table and walked away from the both of them.
Unknown - keep away from Adrien!
Unknown - don't go with him anywhere!
Unknown - Adrien is MINE!
