Chapter Six

Jack's POV

I called Sam right away and we decided to meet at Starbucks. When I arrived, I sat down and ordered my usual drink.

when Sam came through the door, i stood up and waited for her to come near me. we hugged then sat down.

" So what's the emergency", she said

" well there's something important i need to tell you about", i said.

" okay, but be quick because I have great news too", she said excited.

" you start first because what i'm going to say will take some time", i said.

" well, do you remember Ziad", she said.

" yeah?!" i said.

" he asked me out", she said happily.

Even though her words broke me, i smiled and felt happy for her...she's still my best friend.

" i'm happy for u, but when did u meet with him", i asked.

" this morning", she said.

"do u like him", i asked.

" why?! are u jealous", she said laughing, " well i might like him, we decided to try a relationship together", she completed.

" oh then what happens", i said.

" if it worked we'll stay together and if not we'll stay friends", she said normally.

" okay ", i said.

" so what do u want to tell me", she said looking directly to my eyes.

" well...umm...i wanted to tell you that i'll ask Mia out", i said .

" Really?! that awesome", she said, but i swear i saw sadness in her eyes.

" yeah, it is...", i said.

" so when will u ask her out", she asked.

" i don't know", i said.

" how about now", she said.

" nop", i said.

" why not?! pretty please", she said.

And here we go she gave me her puppy eyes that i could never resist. Be strong Jack, i told myself.

" not now, i need some time to clear things up", i said.

" wow, are u scared of something", she said, " You're Jack, the most likable and handsome guy in school, everybody wants you, u can ask her", she completed.

" yeah, but you know me, i need to realise my feelings and do everything in a perfect way", i said.

" But nobody's perfect Jack", she said.

" well, i want to be one and you know i'm not a play boy, i don't like to have many girlfriends, i just want one, one that i could share my feelings with", i said.

" okay, okay...take your time", she said.

Samantha's POV

Jack is right...i don't know why i'm pushing him to do stuff he doesn't like...of course he needs to clear stuff up because yesterday i knew he had a crush on an another girl.

Jack is beyond perfect...he's just so amazing....from his soft brown her( i wonder what it feels like playing with it), to his green eyes that always has a shine on them, to his light pink lips, he's just so hot. But thats not the reason why i felt in love with him, its all about his personality, he's just an ordinary guy who likes to help others, he has a kind heart, he always acts right and hates bothering other people...

well he's everything a girl looks for, and i guess the special girl is going to be Mia.

She's just so lucky.

the truth is that i felt in love with my best friend, i tried to deny it many times and achieved in it towards Bailey, i lied to her. i know its wrong but if she knew, she's going to tell hima and i can't risk it.

It was clear from his talk yesterday that i'm only his best friend, thats why i can't tell him. i know ur asking why i'll go out with Ziad. He's a great guy and i wanted to see if my feelings toward Jack will stop and i'll start loving other people. Ziad is my only hope to help me forget about Jack.

It all started when I shared my first kiss with Jack. We were ten years old. It was a at winter, we decided to go to the near park, everything was white since it was covered with snow, we started playing many games and running here and there.

But when he caught me, both of us lost our balance and fell to the snowy glass, well i fell and Jack was on top of me. Slowly, he leaned down and kissed me...it was soft, gentil, and magical. Here i knew my feelings towards him, i was falling in love.
