It was now morning and Yata felt like he got no sleep at all.

"Ugh, what does mother fucking nature hate me? What the fuck did I do?"

"Jeez Yata, you look like shit." Kusanagi pointed out. "Didn't get much sleep?"

"What do you think?"

Yata hopped up on the bar stool and laid his head on the table.

"Where is everyone?"

"They're still sleeping." Kusanagi stated. "You're the only one, other than me, to wake up."

Yata wasn't very talkative, which was unusual for him.

Kusanagi was started to get a bit worried, but more curious than anything.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"...Nothing's wrong." Yata hesitated. Was it alright to tell Mr. Kusanagi about his thoughts. He knew he was trust worthy, but...

"Bullshit."

"What?"  Yata's head perked up.

"You heard me. You're lying." Kusanagi said firmly. "You're a bad lier, you always have been."

"..." Yata pouted and turned his head. Talk about stubborn.

"Are you scared of thunder and lightning?" Kusanagi questioned.

"What!? What do you think I am,  a little kid!?"

"A little person."

"Shut up!"

Yata got up and went to lay down on the couch, pulling his hat over his eyes.

An awkward silence filled the room until Kusanagi decided to break it.

"So something is on your mind then."

Yata was silence. Kusanagi always had the talent of reading people like an open book and you couldn't do anything about it.

"Is it Fushimi?"

Yata didn't speak. I had only been a month or so since Fushimi had left HOMRA and Kusanagi could instantly tell the impact it had on Yata..

"You know, if you miss him that much, why don't you go see him?"

"Go see that traitor!? I rather die!" Yata had ripped off his hat and sat  up. He  eyed Kusanagi . His eyes holding a violent intent, but he averted his gaze after a short while and looked out the window.

Yata was slightly flustered and Kusanagi picked up on it.

"Do you... like him?"

"What the fuck!?" He looked back at Mr. Kusanagi, who had a smirk present on his face.  Yata through his hat across the room and hit Kusanagi in the face. "Why would you even think that!?"

Kusanagi continued smiling.

Yata could feel himself burning up, his heart beat starting to pick up it's pace. He was mad at Kusanagi. What could have made him think that! What didn't he think of that...? Wait, what?

He couldn't like that TRAITOR! He was a disgrace to HOMRA! He had betrayed HOMRA, his only true family! He had burnt they pride and sided with the ENEMY!

"You know you can't hide stuff from me, Yata. I know you too well."

Yata sighed and looked back out the window.

"So, what if I am thinking about him? What if I do like him? ...I don't even know."

Yata pulled he knees close to his chest and held tightly. He just couldn't face the fact that he liked a traitor. No, more than like. He loved the fucking monkey.

"All I can say is, go with your heart. That's the best advice you'll ever get."

Kusanagi handed Yata a glass of water.

He just stared at the water, wondering what Fushimi might be doing right now.

                                         ---------------------------------------------------------------------

The morning light shown through the dark curtain, signifying that it was time to arise.

"Well, that was a shitty night." Saruhiko said, stating the obvious.

Fushimi rose from his bed bed, stretching himself out. He brushed his teeth, brewed some horrible tasting coffee and ate a quick breakfast. He through on and together his worked up and prepared himself for a rough day of work.

*knock knock*

"Fushimi!" He heard a voice yell, outside his door.

He opened the door to find Seri.

"Hey, Seri. What's up?"

"We need to talk. May I come in?"

"Do what you must." Fushimi sighed and scratched his head. What's so urgent that she needed to talk to him in person?

Seri walked into the surprisingly messy room. Saruhiko had always been an organized individual, so it didn't make sense as to why his room was such a disgrace. He had clothes thrown all over the floor, dust piling up on his desk, coffee mugs where ever she looked. She didn't have to guess very hard on what was going on.

Seri cleaned a spot on the couch and sat. As Saru sat down across from her, she handed him a tablet, revealing a video.

"Security cameras picked this up last night."

"Mi-sa-ki, Mi-sa-ki. Misaki!" Fushimi whined as he slept. "...Where are you...?"  Tears seeping from his eyes.

"What was that about?"

"Wait a second, there are cameras in my room!?" Fushimi stood up and cautiously looked around the room. "Is that even legal?!"

"Answer the question."

"I don't know. I must have been asleep. I don't remember any of this. I know this is unprofessional, but-"

"Do you love him?"
