It's been days since me and Dave's talk and honestly I feel better than ever! It was time to go pick up Kairi, Dave's daughter who I learned about a few weeks back, she was a sweet little girl. I decided to ride with Dave just to spend time with him. We pulled up to this nice two story house. Getting out the car we knocked on the door and his baby momma opened the door half way naked.
"Hey Dave baby." She said flirting like I wasn't standing there then she had the audacity to try to give him a hug.
"Yo, Keisha, bring me my damn child and stop this shit and where the fuck are your clothes? You see my damn girl standing her, don't be rude." Dave said aggravated, pushing her off of him.
She rolled her eyes and stomped to go get Kairi.
"Mina!" She screamed as she ran and came to hug me with a smile on her face.
I saw Keisha look at me with jealousy but I wasn't stressing it to the fact that I wasn't one to tingle with drama. We rode all around town and to the ice cream shop just to spend some time with Kairi. Honestly Kairi is like my child, love that little girl to death.
While Dave went into Walmart, she started to ask me random questions.
"Are you going to treat me like my mommy ?" she said in a sad like voice while looking down, playing with her fingers.
This caught my attention and I was now alert.
"How does your mommy treat you baby?" I asked her softly, lifting up her chin softly seeing her tear filled eyes.
"She hits me sometimes when I messes things up. She sometimes tells me that the only reason I'm here is so she can be with my daddy and stuff." She said shedding tears, looking so vulnerable to only be about 5.
This broke my heart to know somebody was putting their hands on this innocent child.
"No baby, I'll never put my hands on you in any way." I said wiping away her tears, pulling her into a hug.
"Does your daddy know?" I asked her softly while rubbing her back.
"No, mommy said she'll do it worse if he finds out." She stated then started crying even harder into my shoulder, that her body started shaking.
Knowing Keisha was hitting on this child made me sick to my stomach and at the fact she only had this child to get Dave's attention. I slowly rocked her in my arms so she could fall asleep in my arms while thinking on how to present this to Dave. Dave finally came out the store and I didn't know what to do, to be honest, I didn't want to tell him this because I know he'll feel hurt.
I wanted to tell him but it's not my place. Knowing Kairi was in danger I realized telling him was the best option other than fighting her ass.
"Dave, I have something to tell you." I said in a serious voice looking down at Kairi while I played with her soft hair.
"Tell me wassup." He said glancing at me since he was now driving.
"Well when you were in the store Kairi told me something that's been rubbing me the wrong way." I said running my fingers through Kairi's hair.
"What she say Mina?" Dave said as he sighed then pulled over.
"She told me Keisha hits on her and if you found out it would be worse." I said starting crying thinking of the situation.

Dave said nothing and that scared me.
"We not even gone talk about it right now cause it's gone piss me off." He said gripping the wheel.
*One week later*
Tomorrow is the day Dave is taking Kairi to her egg donor. She doesn't even deserve the title of a mother. Dave said he didn't want me to go so I chose to respect his decision. It's not my family therefore I don't have a say.
Omniscient Pov
Dave bangs on Keisha's door getting aggravated. He was damn sure about to get to the bottom of why this hoe hitting his baby. Dave didn't believe in putting his hands on women but Keisha was about to get her ass handed to her if this shit was true.
Again Keisha came to the door with nothing but a robe.
Dave asked her, "Aye bitch you been putting yo hands on my child ?!"
Keisha became ghost. She knew how Dave was about Kairi and she was regretting even touching her. Keisha hurried and shut the door, it was no telling what Dave would do to her if he found out the truth.
Dave was outside the door fuming. He took Kairi back to the car and drove out the drive way. Dave wanted Keisha dead but he couldn't do that to Kairi. He hates that's the bitch he got pregnant. She so damn trifling and he hates he have to live with that for the next 13 years.
His friends told him not to go for Keisha and that she was a hoe but he didn't listen. Dave regrets that decision everyday. The only thing Keisha was good for was having Kairi.
Dave pulled up to Amina's house fuming. He laid Kairi in her room that Amina got custom made for her.

Dave just wanted peace. It was always something with Keisha. Like the bitch could never do right and it pissed him off.
Amina didn't try to get Dave to tell her what happened. She saw he didn't want to be bothered so she just laid with him. Amina was that fresh breath of air that Dave needed. He appreciated her so much !
