This book was written as a fanfiction but after after a wonderful experience of being bashed by the adored Di(ck)'s of the same fandom, I'm providing face claims to my characters as changing the names is too tedious a job.

Nandini Murthy

Adjusting my $300 Ray-Ban on my nose and tilting my head up with all the attitude I have, I walk further into the biggest store of the city. I roam around confidently, looking for some expensive things to have them for me. When I reach the jewelry section, I go on to look for some expensive gold rings. I absolutely love anything and everything which is expensive. Brands always come handy.

I look at the gold rings through the glass and also some of the ring trays are kept out as the staff is showing them to the other costumers. I then glance at my fingers which are adorning-ahem! Eight gold rings each worth more than $350. I cringe at the thought of having one more.

No more rings for today.

I saunter ahead to the necklace section and all the shimmering diamond and gold haze has me captivated for a moment but then I remember about the, oh! $4500 necklace circling my neck.

I do not want one more as of now.

Earrings? I question myself, glancing at them. Well, I've only got two ears so, only a single pair of earring deems fit. I already have a pair of diamond and gold earrings hanging down my ears worth $250.

One more? Nah.

I shrug and walk out of the jewelry section. It has got me bored. So, I enter nearest one to it-the accessories one. I look around for a stylish purse but then remembered the $450 Chanel purse hanging by my arm.
