hyungwon was a very sensitive boy , the smallest of things could upset the younger. so when he heard those words leave jooheons lips he lost it.

" i love you ."

hyungwon threw the blankets off himself and ran out of the room , jooheon letting out a small curse as he called after the boy. jooheon had thought hyungwon had been sleeping , that he wouldn't hear him say the words he had been dreading to say. jooheon didn't love hyungwon anymore , he loved him.

as hyungwon rushes into the bathroom he feels his throat closing , his vision growing blurry.

" hyungwon open the door ! i wanted to tell you , i'm sorry !" jooheon calls through the door as he knocks on it , hyungwon holding his hands over his ears.

hyungwon falls to the ground in front of the toilet , pulling himself up as he coughs loudly. hyungwon gags as he shoves two fingers down his throat , leaning forward as he throws up a mixture of petunias , orange lilies and yellow carnations.

the petunias represent hyungwons anger , the lilies his hatred and the carnations for rejection.

" i hate you ! i hate you so much ! i hate that i love you !" 

" baby please come out , let's talk about this ."

hyungwon flushes the toilet before opening the door and shouting loudly.

" don't call me your fucking b-baby !"

" hyungwon i'm sorry-"

" get out ." hyungwon says as he looks up teary eyed.

" what ? you're kidding me ."

" i said get out !"

hyungwon screams , jooheon scoffing as he grabs his keys and phone.

" i'll be back tomorrow for my stuff , were over ."

" g-good !"

jooheon leaves the apartment , slamming the door on his way out. sliding down the wall hyungwon let's out loud sobs , gasping for breath as he wipes his eyes.

hyungwon could feel his chest tighten as he ran through all their memories in his head. all the late night minute market runs , two am movie marathons , baking cookies on rainy days. what did kihyun have that was so much better ?

why did he win jooheons heart ?
