38. " trial "

Arthit and Prae are both in the university that they're now attending
They're in the classroom when arthit suddenly started seeing images flashing before his very eyes that made him lose his senses he felt as if time has stopped, he became void of any sort of noises as the only thing he could hear is the deafening pounding of his own heart while he gone pale as white as a sheet of paper.

No way, no way... That can't be!! Arthit panics as he abruptly stood up and ran out of his classroom not hearing the calling the people in there giving him even Prae's voice didn't manage to reach him.

Puzzled, prae hurriedly ran after arthit without thinking after she excuses herself from her professor.

" arthit! "

" arthit what's wrong? Where are you going? " prae called out to her cousin but to no avail, arthit didn't even spared her a single gaze and just continue to run towards the main street and hail a cab.

" wait... " prae shout, her hand hanging in the air as she's trying to stop her cousin who just went inside the cab. " arghh... What's going on with him did something happen? " he wonders as he smacks her hand against her forehead in bewilderment at arthit's rash action.

Arthit took his phone from his bag as he impatiently bit on his nails as he surfs for any available flight that he could take that day, when he secured one plane ticket he asks the driver to take him to their house.

When he arrived there he immediately took his passport and just shove any clothes he touched on his backpack along with some cash he had saved, he then hurriedly went out and took a cab again and head towards the airport.

As he waited for the plane to take off he can't seem to calm himself down as his whole body got eaten by uneasiness, the pit to his gut crumpled with fear and anxiety.

What's going on?  Why that images?

Is this why she sent me here?!

Meanwhile, prae is still kept looking for arthit and trying to contact him but arthit's phone is still can't be reached she already did it for hours and started to get really worried about her cousin.

Night time came but there's still news from arthit so she decided to call her boyfriend to talk about it and told her concerns.

" you mean you still couldn't contact arthit? After he ran out of your classroom?" em asked in the other line

" yeah, and he still isn't here it's already past midnight " worry could be heard through her voice. "

Em sigh." what's that idiot on about now?..." he paused. " try checking his things, see if he had brought anything with him. "

Prae hums softly." okay, I'll call you later then." after biding their goodbyes to each other she hesitantly started looking through arthit's things  and found out that's his passport was missing after knowing this she immediately called her boyfriend again and told him about this she also asked if there's anything going on their clan or perhaps about kongpob thinking that maybe that's why arthit just rush out and even took his passport.

Em think hard before answering her but he honestly didn't know either what's going on in their clan because his parents forbid him and his brother from going home for the time being and he didn't saw anything unusual in kongpob for arthit to worry so much to go as far as urgently taking a plane back home.

But this statement of his just made his girlfriend be worrier than she already is and noticing this the only thing he can do is verbally reassured his girlfriend that everything will be okay and that he'll ask his brother if arthit contact the older.
