Forth P.O.V
I closed my eyes, heave a sigh of tiredness and said, "You noticed?"
I thought I hid it well enough but somebody actually noticed.
Park butted in that tense moment with one hand raised in the air and asked, "Wait...wait... Forth drinks Lemon Tea?"
"Since last year?" Chai joined in.
"Because of Ai'Casanova Doc Beam?" Aat asking the bonus question.
"Of course I noticed. I'm not blind like our friends here." Lam said exasperated with his idiotic friends.
"I ... I met him way before I knew that he's one of the members of the infamous Crazy Doctor group. When I first met him, I thought to myself that he was totally my type. I wanted to pursue him then, that's why I kept inviting him and the Crazy Doc group over for drinks with us but when I realized that he didn't have any intention to commit to any serious relationship and only wanted to play around with the ladies, I backed off immediately. Back then, I thought if I couldn't get him as a lover then I should keep him close as a friend. It's no use destroying a perfectly good friendship for a futile one-sided love."
Aat blurted out, "Love... Boss you loved him?"
"Ai'Forth...you were serious about him?"
"Yeah, just the mere sight of Lemon Tea would remind me of him and just that would have made my day then."
"What about Nong Yo then?"
"Nong Yo is lovely and cute so I thought that I could try falling in love again but his heart already belongs to someone else and...it turns out that my feelings towards Nong are not as strong as my feelings for Beam."
While giving encouraging pats on my back Chai meekly said, "Boss ... we're sorry we didn't know about this."
"Hey. Don't worry about it. I didn't want to bother you guys. Besides, it's not something to be proud of, getting rejected not once but twice."
"Forth... people always said that if you're deeply loved by someone, it gives you strength, a strength that you didn't know that you had it in you but I think that to love someone, so deeply, it requires courage and commitment and... you have that in you, my friend. So don't you dare look down on yourself! Besides, you haven't even confessed to him properly so don't admit your defeat so easily now. If you do, I'll let the gang know that their so-called formidable leader is a weakling and a coward and that you need a good beating up so that you can have a good wake up call."
"Ai'Lam...I think he gets it." Park said, feeling alarmed with Lam's threats.
