After the Campus Moon & Stars Competition

Beam's POV

"I have an urgent mission, I'll see you later. Take care of my friend, he's very hungry." I looked at Mingkwan and requested him.

I then looked at Kit and said good luck to him while hurriedly catching up to the group of people that I just waved to.

Forth and his friends.

"Catching some stars tonight?" I asked while reaching to where Forth and his friends stood around.

"Hey Beam, yeah. Why? Want to join in? I can find a Star for you?" Park questioned.

I looked at Forth and he was not paying attention to our conversation. His crestfallen expression is so unlike him, but it is expected since he technically got rejected by Nong Yo.

"It's okay. I got something to do after this."

"Oooooh, no wonder you declined. Beam already have a date. Who is it? A Star or a Moon?" teased Lam.

"Ai bah, I like girls, not guys" I retorted.

Actually...

"Who knows? Your best friends are courting and being courted by former and current campus moons. Who knows, it could be you next" said Park while grinning.

"Shit Park, if you do not shut up now, my fist will come flying to your handsome face", I said while waving my fist around.

If it were him...

"Uh...Forth, do you have something on later? I'm going to the bar tonight and if you have nothing on, do you want to get some drinks together?" I asked him bashfully.

He finally looked at me with those huge soulful eyes and I could feel my heart literally skipped a beat.

"Au...Beam, why are you inviting Forth only? We are not walls here, you know. You can invite us along too!" Lam exclaimed.

"My dear stupid friends, I thought you guys are busy with your Stars? I don't want to be the one who stops you from reaching the heavens."

"Oh right. I forgot about that," answered Lam.

"Let's go then, I have nothing on. Do you want to ride with me?" Forth asked while spinning his motorbike keychain.

I shook my head and said, "I brought my car, so I'll just meet you there? At ou...the usual bar?"

Forth nodded and gestured to his friends that he's leaving and his friends all patted his back.

Just as I was about to leave, Park asked me to help look after his friend and make sure that Forth does not drink himself to death.

"Don't worry, Park. I wouldn't mind taking care of him. He will be in good hands," I said.

I wouldn't mind because...

He owns my heart from the first time that we met.
