I looked around me. Everything was pitch black but I could hear the screams of those that I held close. I whimpered. I was powerless. How was I powerless? I was a supernatural creature, one at the top of the food chain. My father was calling out for my mother, but the feeling I had was dread. There was no answer back and the longer he went without an answer, the more frantic he became. I could hear Caroline sobbing and a faint heartbeat from two floors up. What was going on? Had we been attacked? I jolted awake. I was sweating profusely and I knew that this nightmare was a foreshadowing of what was to come. There would be deaths and I knew that I had to prepare myself for loved ones that I would never see again. I looked across the room and saw a fixated stare placed on me. "So you had the same nightmare again?" Hope asked. I nodded. She sighed. "This time I got see everything. I have been having the same one now for two weeks. I think this means something, but what? Surely we can stop this attack?" she asked. I sighed. "I don't know Hope. Your father seemed pretty out of sorts when we saw him a few days ago. I know that you don't think we can lose, but Hope... this feeling that whatever this thing is....she is powerful and she is out for revenge," I said. Hope frowned. "What makes you say she is out for revenge?" she asked. I frowned and thought about what I had said and then how the nightmare had felt. "I don't know. I just felt like she was pissed off at the world. Like somehow, something had been taken from her that was irreplaceable," I said. Hope nodded. "It was what I feared. She is after Landon because he was stolen from her. I wonder, if she has locked these creatures away for who knows how long, how did she have a son?" Hope asked. I sat there. "I think it is time we talk to Ric," I said. She nodded and I got up and got dressed.

I watched as Ric stared at the picture in front of him. The woman was beautiful. She was the biological mother of his twin daughters. Josie and Lizzy were a handful, but they had good hearts. Josie was the quieter, more thoughtful one of the two I had come to realize. Lizzy was somewhat shallow and had a lot of a younger Caroline in her. I smiled. It was funny how the twins took after each mother. Josie looked like her biological mother and Lizzy looked like her surrogate. "What is the news?" Ric asked. I looked at him. He had caught me watching him. "Hope and I have been having the same nightmare for two weeks now. Every time there is war, here, and people are dying. But, we think we have gotten another piece of the puzzle figured out. The only thing is, it brings two other questions up," I said. "Of course it does," Ric said sighing. "We think that she will come here and start a war for revenge," Hope said. Ric frowned. "Why revenge? We haven't done anything to her," Ric said. I shook my head. "At some point, I think a few of the supernaturals banded together and locked her away. I think she has found a way to break free," I said. Ric thought for a moment and then nodded for us to continue. "If she is looking for Landon and she is coming for revenge then that means that someone not only locked her away years ago, but that someone stole Landon from her. So, that makes three questions actually," Hope said. "Which are?" Lizzy asked from the corner. We had brought the twins, their parents, my parents, and Hope's family together to hear this. Even her uncle Cole, aunt Davina, aunt Rebecca, and uncle Marcel was here. "Question 1) Who is Landon's father? 2) Who locked her away? 3) And who stole Landon?" I said. Ric nodded. "We need everybody in on this. We have to find at least the two answers of who locked her away and who stole Landon," Ric said. I frowned. "Something isn't right about that Ric. I think we need to be looking for Landon's father," I said. He frowned. "Why?" he asked. "Because he might know how to stop Landon's mother," I said. Ric stared at me for a moment and then he nodded. "How are we going to start looking for his father?" he asked. "Find Landon, DNA combined with magic works wonders, ask Freya," I said smiling. She gave me a smile and we dispersed. I took off with Hope, following her magical tracking device to find Landon.
