I glided across the ice and angled my blades. My edges caught and sent my sliding across the ice on my face. I laid there discouraged until the ice monitor, Anthony, came to check on me. I laughed and got back up wiping the ice off my jeans. I took a deep breath and tried again. I had to be doing something wrong, because for the millionth time I went down.

"OH MY GOSH!! Are you okay." A male voice said behind me.

"Yeah I am fine. Thank you." I looked into green eyes.

"You should be more careful with those moves," I did something that I haven't done in a long time. I blushed and giggled.

"Maybe I will but I don't know. I like being humiliating myself in front of cute guys," I explained. He laughed.

"You think I am cute?" He asked.

"You're not that bad?" I replied coolly.

"Ashton. That's my name."

"Jenna."

"I think that you are doing that wrong." He stated

"What?"

"Your hockey stop." He skated off and came back, spraying the wall beside me with snow.

"WOW! You are amazing." I said in disbelief.

"And so are you, I don't think you're turning your blades at the same time, if that makes sense," I went around again and tried to focus on turning my feet at the same time. I didn't go down, but it still didn't feel right.

"You know, I think I'm done trying for the day," I laughed trying to shake it off. We skated around the rink together for the rest of the session. At the end, he asked me out. I was so charmed, I couldn't say no. That was probably his plan all along.

Andrew's P.O.V

"What is he doing. I don't like it, I don't trust him," I yelled slamming my fist into the wall. I was walking to practice when I saw Jenna skate by, holding hands with Ashton. I hated him.

"Why does it matter so much to you," Brandon, my best bud, asked.

"I just...I like her. And he's going to swoop in and steal her. Everyone knows he gets the girl. For once I find someone who isn't fake. And he's going to steal her, butter her up, and then crush her heart. She doesn't deserve that. She is the sweetest kindest person ever and he will ruin her."

"Andy, I hate to break it you, but she wasn't yours to steal. Not yet anyway," Brandon always told the hardcore truth. He was right though. She wasn't mine, not yet anyway. I stayed after practice. I was dying, my muscles burned, all I wanted was water. But I was still worked up and that anger and aggression needed to be released somehow.

I skated till I was thrown out at closing time.
