Chapter 23: Let Me Take a Catnap

12:30 PM

We ran down a dark hallway, at the end of the long hallway there was a large room. Once we got to the large room we stopped. There was 5 doors, one would lead us to Larry and Jack. But which one?

"Claire lets go through this one." Carrie said pointing to the third door.

We walked through the door. We ran down another hallway and ran up a flight of stairs. The stairs led to a dead end.

"Lets go back." I said.

We ran back to where we saw the 5 doors.

"Okay so it's not this one. How about that one?" I said pointing to the second door.

We opened the door and to our our luck it led us to the lobby of the museum. Again, darkness took over the room. Why on earth would someone build a museum with no windows?

I took 5 steps forward and got tackled by a person.

"Claire! Don't move!" Carrie said

"Why? What's wrong?" I asked

"Remember how the one man said that he set traps for us if we try to escape? Yeah um, you almost ran into a tripwire." Carrie explained

"Oh...." I said looking down

I stared at the tripwire, wondering what would've happened if we had set it off. We had to act fast if we wanted to catch the two men.

" If we could track the men down now, we could follow them around until Monday." I explained to Carrie.

"That sounds like hard work. I don't want to risk you getting hurt again." Carrie said

"Okay well how about we go back to our teepees and grab something to eat. Then after that we'll sleep. If I don't get sleep, ill be a zombie." I said jokingly
