-The Next Day-

Still Ezra's POV

Sabine, Kanan, Zeb and Chopper are out on a military grade supply run so it was just me and Hera on The Ghost for the rest of the day. This gave me the perfect opportunity to ask her about my crush on Sabine, "Hera, you have been a second mother to me since I joined the crew so I was wondering if you could talk to me about relationships seeing as my parents never got the chance???" I shifted my feet awkwardly as Hera looked at me with her stern eyes as if she didn't believe me, but I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't... "Ezra you're 19 what's going on you seem a bit fidgety today, what did you really want to talk about..." I shuffled my feet forward and didn't make eye contact with her in case I caved and told her everything... "Ezra......" she said sternly putting a firm hand on my shoulder 'This was it'  I Thought...

...."And I've had a crush on her since then".....as I awaited Hera's response she looked furious but then her features relaxed, "You usually tell me everything! I can't believe you didn't tell me??!!" She shouted poking at my sides making me flinch, 'I knew I shouldn't have told her I was ticklish' I thought as I mentally face palmed myself. "But can you please not tell the others yet I don't want to make a fool of myself" I pleaded, she nodded, "Oh and there is one other.... minor detail...." I took in a deep breath, "She can't know until I tell her....."

Hera's POV

'I can't believe it...' I thought. Sabine. And Ezra. Could they get together? and "SHE'S OUT ON A MISSION THAT COULD BE AMBUSHED!!!!" I almost screamed at Ezra for his carelessness but I had to get them out of there... 'Spectre 5 to Spectre 2 we need a rendezvous pickup NOW!! Spectre 2 do you copy?' All Hera could do was stand there blankly staring at her com link when all of a sudden she fell to the floor unconscious. Ezra's Jedi instincts kicked in as he caught her and gently carried her to her bed answering Sabine's distress call. "Yes Spectre-5 I copy, Spectre-2 is out of commission at the moment, but I am here...." There was a slight pause after the message was sent to Sabine but she soon replied, 'Copy that Spectre-6 transferring coordinates now...'
