Unexpected Love (Jai Brooks Fanfic)

Chapter 2

-ELLIE'S POV-

I got home after my 'shopping trip' and went upstairs straight to my room, i collaped on the bed, as i felt a bit dizzy from the bump. 

Suddenly, my phone buzzed, i didn't even need to look at the caller ID i knew who it was.

It was Jai.

"Hello?" i said, pretending to not know who it was. "Well hello gorgeous" Jai replied, as soon as i heard his voice say that my cheeks started to burn and i felt a shiver right down my spine. He just called me gorgeous, ME gorgeous? There must be something wrong with his eyesight, i didn't think i was gorgeous, i didn't think i was ugly, but definately not gorgeous.

"Shutup.." i said with a smile reaching from ear to ear. "So, when we going on our date?" he asked, i could just feel him smirking on the other end of the line. "it is not a date." i reply. "then what is it then?" Jai asked cheekily.

I don't really know if i'm honest, we were just meeting up, it was hardly a date. I hardly new the guy, I'm surprised i even plucked up the courage to give him my number, let alone meet up with him. I just felt so comfortable around him. "We are just two people, getting to know each other.".

"So, a date?" he replied. I sighed and he was laughing at the other end of the phone, his laugh was really cute. I heard somebody grab his phone off him and start talking to me "Hey this is beau jai's brother, just to let you know he wouldn't shut the fuck up about you on the way home, and he thinks you're really ho-" he just managed to squeeze that bit in before Jai snatched the phone off him "FUCK OFF BEAU!" I heard him shout.

I started laughing.

"Sorry about that, i hate having a brother that's a FAGGOT!" he shouts at him. "He is such a loser." I was still laughing, i found it hilarious. But then it hit me what Beau was just about to say, Jai thought i was really hot? hmm.

"So, you think i'm really hot?" i question him. I could picture his cheeks turning red as he mumbled into the phone "umm.. maybe.." he quickly changed the subject, he suddenly became quite shy and innocent. "So.. emm... i w-was just wondering.." he took forever to spit it out. "are you busy tomorrow?"

I wasn't sure how to reply. I wanted to get to know him, cos he seemed really nice and sweet. not to mention he was pretty hot. But i just went with it. I'm only meeting him, i thought, it's not like a date or anything.

"Umm, yeah sure!" i said, he seemed surprised by my answer.

"Oh wow, emm, okay, how about you text me your adress and i'll come and pick you up at around eleven?" he said, sounding shocked that i had agreed.

"Sure, that sounds good, See you tomorrow!"

"See ya tomorrow" he said and i hung up the phone, i ran downstairs to inform my nana of my plans.

"Hey nana" I said popping my head through the lounge door.

"Yes?" she replied, her eyes glues to the television watching a really crappy looking sci-fi horror, with fake plastic dinosaurs and aliens in it. She was a very strange woman my nana. 

"Would it be okay if i went out tomorrow with a friend?" i asked.

"Who are you meeting up with? It's only our first day he-" she paused looking at me with a curious look in her eye.

"This is that boy you bumped into today, isn't it?" I bit my lip, and nodded.

-JAI'S POV-

I was driving up her street, coming to a stop outside her house. It was a nice looking house, about the same size as mine, the garden was full of flowers and various plants.

I got out of the car and walked to the door, my heart was beating quite a bit faster when i knocked on the door. I must admit i was a little nervous. Okay, i was really nervous. I wanted to make a good impression on her. Before i knew it she had opened the door, and i had found myself staring at her.

She looked gorgeous. She was wearing a floral playsuit which showed off her beautifully tanned legs. "Hey" she said motioning me into the house. "I just need to grab my bag, wait here." i nodded as she ran up the stairs and into her room.

I looked around when suddenly, and older woman popped her head around a door, before stepping out with her arms crossed, examining me. "So, you must be this Jai boy i've been hearing about." she talked with a thick Scottish accent. "Yeah, I am, It's nice to meet you." it got really awkward as she just continued to examine me when El came bouncing down the stairs with her bag over her shoulder and a navy blue jumper on.

"Nana, this is Jai, Jai this is my nana." she introduces me, "It's nice to meet you." i say holding out to offer her a handshake. She reluctantly holds out her hand and shakes mine back. "You too" she says with a stern look on her face she continues "now, don't try anything funny." she says glaring right at me. Woah, she was intimidating, yet she was a small old lady, man up you pussy, i thought to myself.

"Woah, back off nana, we're just going into town. I'll text you when i'm coming home, i have the key, so you don't have to stay in." El explains. "Okay then, have a good time." she smiled at me, making me a bit more calm, as she gave me a look of death earlier.

We walked out of the door, locking it behind us, i lead her to the car, and opened the door for her as she got in she looked at me and said "thank you" her eye's were gorgeous. They were a deep emerald green colour, they were full of passion and secerets, which i was dying to uncover.

I shut the car door and get in the drivers side. As i drove, we chatted, laughed and had a nice time singing along to the radio. I've only known El for a day or so, but i felt like i've known her for a lot longer.

We just seemed to click.

"So, where are we going?" she asked.

"It's a surprise" i said, winking in her direction.

OKAY, THIS IS JUST A LITTLE FILL IN CHAPTER, TOOK SO LONG TO UPLOAD, I'M SORRY, HAVE BEEN SOOOOOO BUSY IN SCHOOL LATELY :(
