Chapter 5

-ELLIE'S POV-

The week has flown by. It was Friday today and i was sitting in math. It was nearly the end of the day, then after school i was walking home with Jai, Luke and a girl called Kaitlyn who i had become pretty good friends with over the week. She was going to get ready with me for the beach party.

The bell rung, me and Luke walked to the school gate to meet Kaitlyn and Jai who were there waiting for us. We walked home and on the way we got some ice cream.

We arrived home and we all went into my room, the boys sat on the bed and Kaitlyn sat on my desk chair.

"Oh shit, mum needs help with the shopping, i'm gunna go over and help her, see you guys later!" Jai said leaving the room and heading home.

Kaitlyn and Luke looked at me as soon as he left. "So.." said kaitlyn. "You and Jai?" she winked and so did Luke.

"What, nothing's happening, he's just a friend." i said. "Y'know he fancies the pants off of you El." said Luke.

"fuck off luke" i said. Why would Jai like me, i'm not pretty, or funny. Why would he like me when he has most of the girls at school worshiping the ground he walks on.

"Yeah, he doesn't shut up about you at home El, it's obvious and he admitted it to me on Monday." Luke explained as i was still in shock.

"Why would he like me though? There's heaps of much funnier, prettier girls in school.." i said fiddling with my phone.

"Are you kidding El?! You are absolutely gorgeous! You need to stop putting yourself down, do you know how many girls in school wish they were you? yeah, i thought not." said Kaitlyn, she was so lovely. I was happy to have made friends with her, she was so nice and caring.

"Thanks guys." i said, walking over to them and giving them a hug.

Luke had to leave to get ready, so me and kaitlyn decided on what we were wearing, did our hair and were ready to go.

We ran downstairs and stood at the door, i shouted back "Hey Nana we're off to a party, see you!"

"Wait." i heard her calling from the kitchen, we waited until we saw her figure appearing from the doorway.

"Is there going to be drinking?" she asked.

"No nana, i won't be drinking if that's what your worried about." i lied. I didn't know if there was going to be alcohol there or not. It didn't really matter though, i would probobally have some if there was any, but she should know that it isn't a big deal, i wouldn't get completely drunk. But if i did, i have Jai, Luke and Kaitlyn there.

We left the house and started to walk down to the beach the party was at. It wasn't to far away from where I lived, and i texted Jai and told him we would just meet him there.

On the way me and Kaitlyn talked about school, relationships and the party of course. She was saying that she's been to a few beach parties and they were usually really good. I really got on well with her, she's so lovely.

"So Kaitlyn..."

"So El..."

"You got your eye's out for anyone tonight" i said and she nudged my arm, laughing.

"Maybe, maybe not." she said looking at her hands with a little smile creeping onto her face.

"C'mon spill it Kait" i said nudging her arm.

-JAI'S POV-

I was sitting on the couch watching TV while i was waiting for Ellie and Kaitlyn to come over when suddenly my phone vibrated. It was a text from Ellie saying just to meet them there because her and Kaitlyn wanted to talk.

"BEAU, LUKE, HURRY THE FUCK UP!"

I heard footsteps bounding down the stairs. I stood up and turned round to see Luke and Beau standing at the door. Beau was holding two big boxes of bottles.

"Where did you get that?" i asked walking over to examing what there was.

"I bought it you fucking idiot, i'm, eighteen now remember.." He said waving the car keys in my face to remind me that he is old enough to buy alcohol.

We walked outside and hopped into the car. We were going to a beach that we discovered when we were little. hardly anybody knew about it, apart from the kids in school, which was good cos then we wouldn't get caught with alcohol.

We sat in silence.

"So," said Beau interrupting the silence.

"What?" i asked.

"Do you know if Kaitlyn's going?" he asked. Oh so that's why he's coming, didn't think he would want to come to one of our parties, but now i know why.

"Oh i see why you're coming now. Maybe, maybe not..." I said, smiling because i knew it would annoy him.

"Fuck you..." he replied and me and Luke laughed.

We connected Luke's phone to the CD player in the car and played music for the rest of the journey. We arrived and there was already loads of people there. This was going to be great i thought. I got out of the car and scanned the beach, looking for Ellie. Suddenly i heard a couple of girls giggling behind me, i turned around to see Kaitlyn and Ellie.

My jaw nearly dropped. Ellie look HOT. She was wearing a pair of dark denim shorts and a rolling stones top. She was laughing at something with Kaitlyn and her laugh is perfect. So is her smile...

She notice me and the boys, and she waved. I waved back and walked over to them.

"Hey" i said smiling.

"Well, i'm gunna go, leave you to alone." Kaitlyn said winking and laughing, she walked over to Beau and Luke. Beau will be happy.

I took Ellie's hand and we started to walk down to the beach, Beau and Luke carried the boxes of alcohol down and placed it by where other people had put theirs.

There was music playing from someone's car, there was a small fire with a few people sitting around it and was getting darker. This was going to be awsome.

I'VE GOT A WICKED NAME FOR JAI AND ELLIE ARE YOU READY FOR THIS: Jellie. Yep, i know, couple name genius, even though they aren't a couple, yet;)

and guys, i'm so sorry i haven't uploaded in ages:(( been really busy with school and moving and stuff...

BUT, here we go another chapter, if this gets to 100 reads i'll post the next chapter:)
