Part 13

The scent of alcohol was so strong that it was almost enough to intoxicate on its own. While the other two pets were quite tipsy, I'd refused to participate in getting drunk. Ross had tried to get me to do it several times, though – up to the point where I'd whipped the shot glass from his fingers with a prominent growl. Interestingly, he'd simply shrugged it off, seemingly pacified by the level of alcohol in his blood.

It was four in the morning when we finally left, and I couldn't escape the stinking mess fast enough, urging Ross towards the car by pushing my head into his thigh from behind. He laughed and petted my head but didn't move on.

Joe was following us, carrying a knocked-out kitten on his back. "I still can't believe he's walking on all fours."

Ross' fingers were rubbing my ear from base to tip, thumb brushing across the hairless skin inside my outer ear. My mind immediately clouded, and I purred, leaning closer until most of my weight was pushing against his leg. Their conversation was entirely lost on me, up to the point where Ross' pheromones wafted over me, and he pushed his thumb past my parted lips.

My tongue darted forwards to taste him – and it was terrible. His skin was coated in the residue of whiskey, yet pleasure yanked down my spine when he pushed deeper. His other fingers hooked beneath my chin.

" 'mmm a good kitty too." Taz' mumbling reminded me that we weren't alone, and I jerked back with a start, snarling at the thumb that was covered in my spit, glistening in the soft light of the street lights.

Ross was smirking at me. "Don't act like you weren't enjoying that."

He wasn't staring into my eyes, and when I followed his gaze, I noticed that my member was barely half-limp anymore. There was nothing I could do about that, so I simply ignored my body's reaction to his touch and stalked off towards the car – though only two meters to avoid becoming acquainted with the sidewalk.

"Sure you'd not rather come back with us?" Joe chuckled. "I don't think Taz here would mind. – Or would you, baby?"

"Uh-uhn. Is Vince-y coming back with us, 'mmm?" The kitten purred, teetering on the edge of unconsciousness.

I released a threatening snarl, causing Taz' eyes to flutter open and stare at me in fright.

"Shut the fuck up, tiger," Joe snapped, matching my glare.

"It's okay," Ross intervened lightly, raising one hand towards me and the other in Joe's direction. "You can both calm down. I think Taz had enough for the night, and I need to take Moondrop home. I'll see you Monday?"

Joe shook his head, grimacing. "I won't be making it to the office. Too many appointments."

"Tuesday, then?" Ross grinned, and Joe nodded.

After they had said their goodbyes at a safe distance, we finally got into the limousine. Ross slumped down in the backseat, groaning tiredly, then patted the fabric next to his hip. I eyed him sceptically. He wasn't seriously expecting me to cuddle up to him now, was he?

Apparently, he was.

"What? – Don't tell me we're back to square one!" He groaned, rolling his eyes at me. "Moondrop, I'm going to tell the driver to do a full turn and drop me off at Joe's place if you're planning to keep this up."

The bastard.

Ross sighed, gave me a lingering look, and knocked onto the tinted window on the driver's side. "Hey, change of plans, we're –"

"Don't," I snapped, ears pressed flat against my fur.

"Why?"

"Because," I retorted irritated.

"Because isn't going to cut it tonight," he replied flatly but sank back into the seat.

I averted my gaze uncomfortably, excited at the prospect of doing these things with him yet being reluctant about it at the same time. When Ross leaned over, I didn't look at him until he turned my face towards him, gently holding on to my chin – and even then, I barely managed to glance into his dark eyes before he forced our lips together.

I mewled surprised but allowed his tongue to delve into my mouth, drawing a moan from his throat. His hand dropped onto my hip, and he added his other so he could pull me onto the rear bench with a firm tug, then push between my legs. He kept kissing me throughout the change in position, even as he slammed his erection into me, grunting at the pleasure.

Reality caught on at that point, though it hardly mattered. I felt drawn to him in a way that I'd never experienced before, and the only thing on my mind was mating with him. My fur was standing on end because of the electricity surging through my body, rippling at my groin.

I mewled needily.

Ross broke the kiss to nudge my face aside with his nose, gaining access to my neck as I tilted my head obediently. He rewarded me by softly pulling at my fur using his teeth, causing a stinging that erupted into a gratifying tingling across my skin.

"Come on – moan – for me."

He bit down hard on my muscles, and I threw my head aside with a small scream. My paws shot onto his back, clawing at his shirt, then ripping the fabric open as they slid down his sides. Hissing, Ross pulled back the moment the faintest scent of his blood filled the air.

"Damn it. We really need to tie you up, huh?"

I frowned at the remark, only thinking as far as to conclude that tying me up was going to get into the way of mating – which I thought he wanted just as badly as my treacherous body, and maybe myself.

He sat up straight to reach for his back, then flinched, probably touching the wound. When he pulled his hand away, there was blood on his index finger. He pushed the red tip into my face. "That's your fault."

The scent of his blood was intoxicating despite the residue of alcohol. Before I knew what I was doing, I was sucking on his finger, moaning loudly while my eyes were dropping shut. The finger twitched, brushing against my tongue.

"Shit," Ross muttered but didn't stop me.

I sucked hard – and he suddenly jerked back with a start, using the hand he'd freed to brush his hair away from his face. He took a shaky breath. "Don't you complain once we get home. You're seriously – asking for it."
