Once Todoroki came we all started walking towards our house, it has two bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and a living room. The walk felt long and quite awkward, with few words being exchanged. Eventually we arrived and headed in. Todoroki removed his shoes at the door as he is accustomed to. Cara went into the kitchen to get something to eat.

"I'm just gonna get changed, then we can get started on our project." I informed him with a sweet smile. A light blush, barely noticeable dusted his cheeks.
"Okay, I'll start preparing the materials we need."
"Nice, I'll be back in a few minutes." I pointed at the table in the living room "You can set it up there."
Todoroki nodded in understanding.

I went into my room and put a pair of black leggings and an oversized t-shirt on. When I came out, Todoroki was sitting awkwardly on the couch. He had taken out several sheets of paper and taped them together, he also had an assortment of coloured card in a neat pile on the table. He glanced up and saw me.
"Great, let's start!"
I took a seat beside him and took my materials out of my school bag.
"So, do you know anything about the 1916 rising?"
"Nope."
"Have you ever heard of it before today?"
"Nope, never."
"Ah, you can do the writing then, because my handwriting is terrible, especially in Japanese."
"Alright then, seems fair."

We worked on the poster for about an hour and a half, while I informed Todoroki on the 1916 Easter Rising and designed the poster.
"We should probably take a break." I said while walking towards the kitchen. Stopping at the doorway. "Do you want anything to drink?"
"Uhm, what do you have?"
"Water, Coke, 7up, orange juice, tea, coffee, and milk."
"I'll have a coke please."
"Sure thing, back in a sec."

I returned and handed him his drink. I stopped for a few seconds to look at the poster.
"It's not looking half bad, I have to say. Your handwriting is gorgeous." As I sat back down, I glanced at Todoroki. Just like you.
"Well you're the one who put it all together. I think you deserve most of the credit."
A light blush spread across my face. "Nononono. I really don't, not at all."
"Stop being so modest, you did most of the work. All I did was write."
"But writing is the most important part! If there was no writing, it'd just be blank pieces of paper and card that are stuck together! Anyway, we need to finish it." I protested.
"We don't need to finish it right away, we have a week to do it and we've already made a good start."
"Then what else will we do?"
"The rest of our homework. Or maybe we can get to know each other better." Suggested Todoroki.
"Oh, I forgot we had other homework, shite."
"Well, we better get started."

We tidied away the poster and took out our other stuff. I started on my Japanese homework and Todoroki started on some other subject. About thirty minutes passed in silence.
"Is there any English homework that I have to catch up with?" I inquired.
"No, the English teacher said that you don't need to do it. Would you mind proofreading my homework?"
"Sure thing! Only if you proofread my Japanese homework though."
"Alright."

We exchanged copies and read over each other's homework. As I was scanning over his work, I made mental notes of his mistakes, there were very few, but they were there. When I finished proofreading, I looked over at Todoroki. His hair draped by the sides of his face. I was enchanted by his beautiful, turquoise eye scanning the page. I was so mesmerised that I didn't realise he had finished proofreading and noticed that I was staring at him. The only thing that snapped me out of my trance was Todoroki speaking.
"L/n, are you alright? You were off in another world."
My face started to go as red as a tomato and my tail turned yellow.
"Your tail is doing that thing again, are you sure that it's supposed to change colour? Should I call an ambulance?"
"O-oh, nonono, it does that sometimes. I'm not dying if that's what you're asking. You finished?"
"Yes. It was almost perfect except you made a few small spelling errors here and....... here." He pointed out the mistakes. Thankfully, both my face and my tail quickly returned to their normal colours.
"Oh thanks. You only made a few spelling and grammar mistakes." I leaned in close to show him his slight errors. "Here.... here.... here, annnnnnddd here. Oh, and also, this is in the wrong tense."
"O-oh, thank you."
"We should get back to work now."

I turned to continue working and realised how far I had moved from my original seat. I started to move away from Todoroki.
"Oh shit, sorry. I didn't realise how close I had gotten to you."
Todoroki put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. A blush started to invade my face.
"Uhm, Todoroki. What are you doing?"
He looked down at me and gave me a cute smile, a light blush dusted his face. My heart skipped a beat. Omg he's so adorable, he needs to smile like this more often.
"I like it better this way."
My face went bright red and my tail turned yellow with embarrassment once again. I brought my hands up to cover my face.
"If you don't like sitting like this, I'll let you go."
I thought for a moment and looked up at him with a shy smile.
"No, I like it like this."

Todoroki's POV

I watched as (L/n) pointed out my errors, but I was focused on something else, (Y/n). So beautiful. She had gotten so close that she was practically lying on top of me. A gentle blush formed on my face.
"......and also this is in the wrong tense." (L/n) continued.
"O-oh," I stuttered as I snapped back to reality, "Thank you."
"We should get back to work."

(Y/n) began to turn back to her work.
"Oh shit, sorry. I didn't realise how close I had gotten to you."
Without thinking, I put my arm around (Y/n) and pulled her closer. Her face started to turn red.
"Uhm, Todoroki. What are you doing?" I looked down at her and smiled.
"I like it better this way."
She brought her hands up to cover her embarrassed face.
"If you don't like sitting like this, I'll let you go."
She looked up at me with a cute smile.
"No, I like it like this."

(A/n): You know what? This is probably my favourite chapter so far. It's too fucking cute, even for me, the author. Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
