Misjudged

Are the bad guys in stories always bad guys? Have you ever wondered if the reason the evil step mother in Snow White, gave Snow the apple was because she did something to her in the past? Or if the reason Ursula took away Ariel's voice was just because Ariel had to pay a price to be a human, even if it was only for 3 days? What if the reason Cinderella's step mother and step sisters treated her like crap was because they might not have known how to treat her any other way.

When we think of the bad guys in stories we always think that they are evil. For once can we think of them as the good guys or as civil people. They may not all be as bad as we think they are, they may be misjudged. When looking at people (not always literally) and thinking they are bad, think of a scenario they might be in that puts them in that place.
