Chapter 1

The drive home from volleyball practice was very quite and I wasn't feeling to happy. Had a terrible day at school and just wanted to get home.

Mom asks me, "is everything ok?"

"Not really." I said as I stuck my headphones in my ears. I didn't want her to know it was because I was missing him to death.

It was my birthday and I just wanted to get home, take a shower, and face time him.

"I have a birthday present for you!" She says trying not to squeal like a 12 year old.

"Oh yay! What is it!" I said trying not to get too excited.

"It's a surprise! I hope you like it"

20 minutes later....

As we pull in the drive-way I got even more excited. As I busted through the door I through my bag on the ground and sat down.

"Your present is outside in the back yard" she says with a big smile on here face.

I head outside just wondering thinking maybe they made me beach volleyball area that I have been wanting. As I walked out the front door the first thing I see is a pathway of rose petals. I didn't know what to think besides well this is really weird. As I turned the corner I seen the best present ever. My boyfriend!

I run and he catches me in his arms. I started crying tears of happiness. It has been a very long time since I seen him last.

"Hey baby! I missed you so much!" Shawn said while still holding me in his arms. He then let's go and gets down on one knee almost as if he was proposing. He grabs a white volleyball he had and handed it to me. As I looked closers it said "Would you please let me take my beautiful girl out for the day?" So I just shook my head yes like the complete idiot I am.

"Just let me run and get ready babe!" As a went to hurry to the house and get ready he grabs my arm and squats down in front of me.

"Climb on! My princess shouldn't have to walk." As soon as he said that I got terrible butterflies. He knows when he calls me is princess that it makes me happy. So I got on and he was being is little weird self and was running around making airplane sounds and 'flys' me to my room. He drops me on my queen sized bed and starts tickling me like crazy.

As finally got him to quite I told him he needed to leave so I can get ready. As he left I locked the door and reaches into my closet and grabbed the dress that I wore on our first date. I never really wore dresses but I wanted to look my best because I didn't know how long he would be here. I laid it out on my bed. I grabbed my favorite pair of converse because I didn't want to be taller than him. And then I jumped into the shower.

When I got out I started heating up my curling wand and I blow dried my hair. As I was waiting for the wand to heat up, I put my make up on.

30 minutes later....

I was just about to walk out the door when my phone buzzed in my hand. It was from my friend Aubree

"Hey what are you going to do this after noon?" I typed back as fast as possible. "I can't talk right now I have to go somewhere so I will text you, Zerriah, Taner, and Hailey later and explain."
